We all know that Porsche makes some amazing cars. Everything from the Cayman GT4 to the classic air cooled Porsche 911. However the Porsche 911 GT3 992 at 9000RPM is maybe hands down one of the best supercar experiences somebody could ever have. Thanks to the guys over at Xtreme Xperience and their Open Road program I had the chance to drive some of the best dream cars around...but the Porsche stole my heart.

Funny how to the regular guy the GT3 is nucking futs. But I just watched Matt Farah's latest video on the Deman 4.5L GT3 and apparently after being in that, the standard 4.0L feels lifeless lol.
When it comes to the 911 it's one of the few times were recycling the formula just works. The way Porsche improves on this chassis time and time again is done in the best ways possible.
A 4.0l 6cyl hitting 9k is insane
and one that has 500hp NA. Insane
The previous 991.2 GT3 was a 4.0l flat 6 that hit 9k.
9k really isn't that high. 5.2 voodoo V8 does 8250.

Do you own a gt3 or have you spent significant amounts of time in one? Curious- because I find mine absolutely amazing on public roads.
I will agree that my gears are tall- had a 996 x50 911 turbo before and gears were shorter so you shift more. But overall the gt3 is the single best car I’ve owned for road and track- having owned 911 turbo, BMW M5, Subaru STI, and a Civic S
All fun but GT3 is the best I’ve driven
I was the exact same way with Porsche vs. Lambo/Ferrari/etc. my dream car was a manual murci. But now that I’m older and much more involved with the car community as an enthusiast, I’m all over Porsche. It’s like a “when you see it” moment.

Like David was saying, I wish cameras could capture the full experience of what it's like to ride in or drive one of these. Drove a 992 GT3 at the Porsche Experience Center last December.. Incredible car and incredible handling. Microphones don't do this car justice whatsoever though in terms of how crazy they sound. That last 5-700 rpm or so when revving to 9000 is really loud, and "racecar" I think is the only word that can give an idea of how it sounds
So true. My modified Cayman sounds half as mental as this one and viewers comment on my video about how it doesn't sound as good as stock 🙄 IMO Porsche heavily mutes all their exhausts except the GT3's. It's hard to capture how good a modified Porsche exhaust resonates on the GoPro mics.
You should upgrade the channel with a 2nd GoPro David for the front view these days so us viewers can enjoy the nice drives too. It would really help give us viewers a much better perspective 🙏 thanks again for another dope review my friend 👌

Most people dream of owning a Lambo or Ferrari, but a GT3 or GT3 RS is my absolute endgame dream car. They're just so good! Speed, handling, sound, comfort, reliability, it's just all there. Such an epic car.
I'm so jealous of y'all getting to experience this Bavarian Beast in real life/in person. The closest I can get to a 992 GT3 is on Forza Horizon 5 🤣.
Reliability? Are you sure about that? Not trying to talk smack, but these cars require a LOT of maintenance over time. Very high quality, but also VERY complex with many fragile systems that fail over time.

Porsche is from stuttgart which isn’t in Bavaria

It took Porsche awhile, they finally got it dialed in. My buddy had a 930 turbo back in the late 80s. Quickest thing on the street. Newer models more stable not as much ass swap....Incremental pursuit of perfection
True as a kid you choose the loud bright lambos and ferraris and now as a young adult I’d go for the Porsches… You grow up as a car enthusiast of course you love all motorized vehicles that go vroom but you realize just how special Porsche is as a brand and get to appreciate their passion towards making the perfect sports car.
So lucky to be driving all these cool cars man! Love GT3's

Every time Porsche unveils a new RS car, I think "How could they possibly make the next one better?" And then they do just that.
(Cayman GT4 RS is still the tippy top for me, as far as Porsche goes.)
I guess I'm a bit of an oddball in the sense that I've always appreciated Porsche (and Lotus) more so than any Ferrari or Lamborghini.
Cars like the 996 Turbo X50 or Elise 111? Oh, baby! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

I have always said, Porsche is the only exotic car that doubles as a daily driver. Reliable, efficient, fast, engineered better than any other vehicle on the planet IMO.
I use to be like Brandon. Never cared for Porsche growing up. Despite being a German car lover. They never had an appeal. Until I had the chance to be passenger in a 991.1 GT3 RS. I fell in love instantly. I've not had the chance to drive one yet (GT3 or RS). But I want to. Would love to own one eventually w/o even having driven in one. Listening to that flat 6 sing and feel how connected the chassis is to the road is like you said. An experience that can only be felt in person to understand. Even as passenger. I was sold.
Though the audio aspect does translate through videos well enough to give a small taste. But it's still something that changes you in person.
I had the pleasure to ride around a track for the entire day by a pro driver in one of these; coming from tuned evos and golf r’s I really wasn’t expecting a major difference.
Holy cow was I wrong… I dragged myself out of that car at the end of the day and laid in the dirt. Just breathing, the g’s these cars can pull in corners is absolutely ridiculous. Enough to make a seasoned driver just lay in the dirt.

I feel exactly the same way growing up I never really cared for Porsche. Now that I'm older I really appreciate them. But for some reason I still would pick a Lambo/Ferrari/McLaren Nostalgia is a crazy thing
I love how they changed the design. Like they made it simpler, but more complicated at the same time. It's crazy. Also looks a little retro. (80s 90s retro now)

when i was driving in the porsche experience of atlanta (blacked out gts 4 targa), the driving instructor and i drove to the lauch control area. what was in front of me was a blue gt3 and that thing was SO FREAKING LOUD when it launched, not to mention that every time on the straightaway, the instructor kept telling me to move to the side so the gt3 can pass by because it was that freaking fast, and let me remind you that i was in a gts 4 targa at the time

Its the same engine as found in the 718 GT4 RS, 992 GT3 RS, 991.2 GT3 RS, 991.2 GT3 - its been around for 5 or 6 years and sounds worse in the 992 series cars due to particulate filters etc.

I was that guy or should I say kid..who would hate Porsches growing up. Always thought of them as the douche guy owner car to have because of people who would leave their driveway drifting as soon as they turned on the car without warming it up on movies lol, and I absolutely never liked the early 2000’s Porsches, I always thought they looked too girly but as I got older they started looking better especially the new ones. They are an insane piece of machinery
