- In this video we showcase our High Volume Intake System Upgrade for the 2022+ Honda Civic / 2023+ Acura Integra 1.5T. We discuss key features and components, as well as provide sound clips for what customers can expect this engine performance modification to sound like on a 100% stock vehicle (no modifications or ECU calibration/tune).

seems like a design flaw for when you have to replace it, not bashing the product by any means. could have done something like S&B filters where you take the filter out from the top rather than having to take it halfway off. could be a better solution.
They definitely did not take filter replacement into consideration 🤣 I have this intake and have to remove the entire thing to replace the air filter
Pretty cool. If I had a Honda thats what I would probably buy, but I would have liked to see it take air from the upper grill.
It does come from the upper grill. Then hits the hood which has a seal, we use the factory seal to seal our box.
That is precisely how it works! That's why we could utilize it on the 11th Gen Civic versus the 10th Gen Civic 1.5T
Can you please make one for the 10th gen 1.5? The current CAI is pretty cool, but this high volume version is way better!
Straight from their site. "Unlike the 10th Gen Civic 1.5T chassis, the 11th Gen / 5th Gen Integra features a rather large and efficient air duct through the front bumper/grill from the factory."
@@RemainNameless614 Correct! They just didn't nail down the air duct design properly until they did they Type-R and Accord! The 10th Gen Civic was Honda experimenting.

Keep up great work...wish I could afford some of them for my 2023 Integra Elite a spec Canada 🇨🇦 version MT. I would not want a race car or loud car, just little more and sleeper but look personal. Wife would love brembo or red brakes.

@@williamwoodfine9731I've been digging into this stuff a lot. 1. something as simple as an intake should be OK for sure and 2. They have to prove that the part is responsible for any damage( not 100% sure on tunes but I think it's the same story ) basically bolt ons should be fine.
@@AD1978leo yea I figured as much I’ve also gotten a lot of my personal friends telling me to just put the stock one back on before I take it in for anything since their not to hard to change out

If your vehicle is the 1.5l turbo engine, then yes. If you have the 2.0L NA engine, we make a separate intake for that!

Okay I know hydrolock isn’t a big concern in totality but is their a chance of that happening with a high volume intake like this vs a actual cold air intake I’m essentially just trying to get the most turbo sound without risking anything since I live in a very rainy state. Thank you.
You’ll be fine man… retains the same air intake route as the stock intake.

Question: is it difficult to replace the filter with the high volume intake?
Nope! All you have to do is remove the 3 bolts that hold the MAF housing to the airbox & loosen the clamp!
so how do you add a lower air inlet? and what would adding the lower inlet do? would it make more intake noise like the 10th gen cobra CAI? I'm kind of leaning towards buying a 10th gen cobra cai for my 11th gen si since it seems like the cobra has a louder intake noise.
You would cut a hole where the existing provision is molded into the air box and simply attach the lower scoop with a clamp. This adds more airflow, cools air Temps and will Ladd noise, as it essentially functions like a Cobra.

What’s the difference from short ram intake to high volume intake ? I’m slow …
From that I read online Short Ram for more turbo sound but not as much performance bc it could heat soak and HVI for performance gains but not much sound difference in turbo sounds

How do you change the filter if you need to change it?
Just remove the one hose clamp and 3 bolts that hold the MAF housing assembly to the air box. The MAF housing assembly and filter comes right out for servicing.

It is negligible, most users see a small increase in MPG, due to efficiency.
Does this void your Honda warranty by any means?
No this dosent i call them and ask them if it does but it dosent it only void it if that parts cause damage to ur car but intake dosent do any damge into it just makes ur vehicle better

This fits all 1.5L Turbo 11th Gen Civics.
Do you still need the resonator delete kit for the intercooler with this?
A resonator delete kit is not needed for this! Also, if doing a charge pipe kit upgrade, our charge pipe kit eliminates the factory resonators.
