As per usual with Marvel Studios, the casting of Katheryn Hahn was spot on. It would be a complete diservice to both her and the character for Agatha NOT to return in future MCU content
In the comics she, storm and Wanda share the high priestess card. storm can become a goddess literally, Wanda is the scarlet witch, and Agatha is very old like old old and has very powerful ties to the hell lord mephisto

Am a fan of her and especially how she played Agnes… but she just got defeated too easily. Pretty sure she is going to be back in multiverse of madness by how the conversation between her and wanda was at the end.
I truly believe they will have sibling rivalry kinda dynamic like Thor and loki do. This is further stressed how in the comics after Wanda killed her she became a ghost that haunts Wanda and helps her in a rough love kinda way.

Actually the sorcerer supreme is not powerless even without the goddess of witchcraft since sorcerer supremes draw their power from many other beings such as the vishanti, octecence, cytorrak, seraphim, faltine, and other godly beings from other dimensions.

We have no choice but to refer back to the Marvel Universe (MU, comics) when discussing AH but the Disney/MCU version is very different from the MU version. I don't think Kathryn Hahn is slated to appear in Doctor Strange 2 so episode 9 is pretty much it for Disney AH. I really hope she is rebooted and re-casted when she (hopefully) appears in FF4 or X-Men. Jane Lapotaire would be my first choice.
Harkness got defeated in very typical Marvel superhero fashion. Kathryn Hahn was great in the episodes leading up to her reveal, but after, she just wasn't as ominous as I hoped she'd be (not as the episodes leading up to who she was, anyway). I wish the writers did something to make this character seem more like a serious threat and not a clichéd villain because in the comics, she's no joke

Being in magas with magic like Fairy Tail with Zeleph and Hades, or in the infamous Dark Lord Voldemort, it's pretty obvious... All she lacks is OP powers... It's most likely Wanda and her will merge together or absorb each other, creating an almighty witch, both with extended dark knowledge and OPness. Who's gonna remain? I guess Wanda but Agnes' evil mind will influence her into using beyond imagination forbidden dark magic.

She's not really a villain, she needed Wanda to give her her power. Wanda's kids and Sparky weren't real. Whereas Wanda was actually hurting everyone in the town who are real. Agatha only hurt the characters who never actually existed. Plus, she only attacked Wanda to draw out her powers after understanding that she was a Scarlet Witch using Chaos magic. We don't know what that means in the MCU yet - but the implication from Agatha is that it's incredibly dangerous for any witch to use, let alone Wanda who has no idea she's even doing it. Plus, when Agatha is entombed in Wanda's dream, she says, "you have no idea what's coming for you", etc. So Agatha was holding something back - she was protecting something.
I'm still not sure she's a villain. It's like she said, she takes magic from those who aren't ready for it or worthy of it. She was trying to push Wanda into using her magic against her so she could take it. She also stated that there was a whole chapter in her enchanted book about Wanda being prophesied to destroy reality or something like that, I don't remember the words exactly, but either way, Chaos Magic is too dangerous for a mentally unstable, out of control witch to use. it could unravel reality. Also, I think Agatha rescues/kidnaps Wanda's kids at the end of the episode. She could have let them die, with the fake vision, but we know from the end credits, that someone got the kids out of there before they got erased, because they call to Wanda for help telepathically, weeks later when she's in the cabin. Of course, she could also be using Wanda's kids as bait to lure her into a hell dimension, where she could have someone like Mephisto back her up against Wanda. Guess we'll find out in the Doctor Strange movie, but given that it's titled, Multiverse of Madness, I'm guessing Wanda does not handle her Scarlet Witch chaos magic all that well, or with enough discipline required not to damage reality. Maybe if Wanda wasn't torturing hundreds of people in a town for weeks with her out of control chaos magic, because she felt emotional, and didn't want to face reality, proving she wasn't ready for her magic, or worthy of it, Agatha wouldn't have bothered trying to take her magic from her in the first place, because Wanda wouldn't have been a threat to reality.

Honestly I don't think Wanda beat her at all. Every single time, even in the flashback of her past, Agatha on the show feigned defeat and vulnerability, pretending to lose, before cracking a grin and coming up for the win every time Wanda fell for her act. It was the same way with her Coven, tricking them into thinking she was vulnerable so they would pour their power into her. Her Magic is trained, not mutant, so she had to know exactly what the absorption spell she placed on herself would do, it was likely not uncontrolled, especially since she uses that same absorption Magic on Wanda later. In the show she excels at playing possum, and using misdirection tactics, so when Wanda "mind controlled" her in the end, and she seemed defeated, I have the impression she was just pretending, once again, because like she said, Wanda doesn't actually know how to use real spells yet, and she does. She very likely shook off the spell the second Wanda left to return home, if the spell ever really effected her at all. She probably had wards up in her mind or somethin, or she knew that Wanda would bring the Hex reality down to set everyone in town free since the government agents had arrived in force, and with it the runes blocking her power would also be gone, freeing her from Wanda's spell. In the end credits scene, we hear Wanda's kids calling for help. I think Agatha may have taken the kids before they got destroyed. We never actually see the kids gets destroyed, because Wanda says goodbye to them, and shuts their door, but we know they're calling for help, so someone went in there and got them out before they could be erased, and that someone was most likely Agatha, who knows that Wanda's kids are an excellent bargaining chip.

She made the runes giant sized on her Hexagon dome to block Agatha's powers, and took her own powers back, but the moment that Dome went down, Agatha would be able to access all of her powers again, as the runes were gone, just like Wanda could use all of her powers when she was away from Agatha's runes outside. Since Agatha was the next door neighbor, and Wanda's house was the last to be inside the shrinking hexagon, Agatha was freed from the Runes before the twins were erased.
