I never understood the people who go to protests but when you put a microphone in their face and give them a platform for their cause, they can’t make even one intelligent statement to actually help convince others to join their cause. It’s worse than not protesting at all.
That is because you've never had passion for something outside of yourself or something that doesn't directly benefit YOU. One day when you lose your rights, your freedoms, or are accused of something you didn't do, maybe, just maybe you will get it. That is assuming you gain an ounce of self enlightenment in the meantime.
