    Yknow what drives me nuts. People always showcase the one side of inflation. But never the other. When taco bell items were less than a dollar the avg income was around 7 dollars an hour. Now many states feature a minimum wage double that. Where i work entry level workers are making 18 an hour. I make 25 as a supervisor.

      The average income was around $7 because in 2009 the government raised the federal minimum wage to $7.25... the same year this burrito came out.
      And some states still have that as the minimum wage.

      @Diviance and the states that have lower minimum wage have lower costs of living too though. They very much are connected. That's how inflation has always worked.

      They have that because they are also heavily subsidized by other states that give more in taxes.
      If you removed that subsidy, their cost of living would skyrocket.
