I keep my bladder snails in a tupperware full of algae water lol they love it. I change the water out every couple days and give them an algae wafer once a week
I have bladder and ramshorns 😂😂the little buggers . My rams do not last a long time unless I keep them in with the endlers. Otherwise, my betta rips them out of their shells. When I kept gambusia, they also ate the snails. But I keep them 😅 I got a soft spot for them. I just reduced my tank feeding to 2 times a week. However, I have loads of copepods and other microfauna for the fish to indulge in so they wouldn't starve. But lort mercy when the population does decide to explode lol
No kiddin'! When they bow up, they BLOW UP! I'm feeding every other day and lightly. I think they just cant help themselves. 🙂I've only got one fema Betta and there have never been snails in that tank. But I have seen her pick off cherry shrimp! She's a hoot. 🙂
Thanks, Steffan. So far the ram's horns haven't become an issue. And mostly they're large enough to hand pick. But those damn bladder snails. . . . Cheers!~Ron
I love bladder snails… well I have a Fahaka puffer so it’s free food 😁

Interesting! What do you do with them? Do you keep them just to keep them? Do you feed them to anything?
Nice. Great video for people who don't know. Thanks for sharing
My pleasure. Thanks!

@@Bwizzle89 Thanks, Mate! You too.
Good tip. works for ramshorn snails, too, though those fall off the Zucchini if you're not careful lifting! As always, nice to visit your "garage."

Likewisw! Thanks!
Bladder snails are like having a cockroach infestation except in your aquarium.
I always said cherry shrimp breed like cockroaches. So now there's a tie! 🙂
First
