Hey, that's pretty neat. I wanted to fabricate a truck bed for a zero turn. I need a golf cart and a zero turn so I figured that I buy the zeroturn and use it as a golf cart.
Very nice dump bed and video, a lot of RUclipsrs could benefit from your format to keep viewers interested. Was curious why the bed wasn't lower, unless I missed it?
Good question. I left it high so that I could hook up to my dump trailer. That way, when I turn sharp, the dump trailer goes under the bed instead of into it.
Just “weld a great big nut in place!” So envious. It’s a thing of beauty, but I had to chuckle - using something like this to pick up little sticks in the back yard seems wasteful, maybe? It’s so much easier to use a big enough mower to crunch them into mulch.
I had to chuckle at your comment. IF you own a big yard you know there are lots bigger limbs that fall off the trees that you DO NOT want to mulch in your mower. I watched this video 'cause he built exactly what I want to pick up my big limbs.
Do you know the wall thickness of the tube you used. I want to make an electric dump bed but not sure if the 1" .095 tube I have access to is strong enough for the frame of it. Thanks
Way ahead of you man. About 15 years ago I was welding from a seated position between two frame rails. Set my crotch on fire. Will never forget running to the bathroom, sitting on the sink, and desperately trying to find the relief of cool water on my willy. It was probably the least cool thing I've ever done.

Excellent Fab job! Keep 'em comin'!
Excellent idea using the factory seat back supports. I'm gonna be doing this later today. I cheated on my by finding a used bed.
Glad to hear folks are finding this video helpful. The amount of time it took to make this video was crazy.
Thanks in a million. Great content. Awesome imagination. Grade: A++💥
Brilliant job. I was getting worried when I saw the exposed batteries next to where you were welding and grinding 🙈
LOL. A little explosion never hurt anyone.
Excellent work
Thanks!
Great Job! Thanks for posting.
Sure thing. Can't believe people are actually watching this thing.

Will try to do a quick update video Sunday. I've done my damned endoskeleton all wrong and need to show everyone what not to do

Guess I'll buy one vs. buying all them tools to cut bend and strengthen the metal
It's not so bad when you already have all the tools..
Do one for a craftsman garden tractor

I used 14g and I feel it's extremely strong

DIY in a pro fab shop sure…
LOL. A pro fab shop? That's the 40 x 50 next to my house. I'm flattered though, really. Thank you!
