Very nice! It nice to see someone assemble something up at waist height instead of crawling around on the floor. We're all getting a little older. Work smarter not harder.
“Heavy duty” and “Some assembly” :-). And let the fabrication begin! Very nice. Looks like it tracks left ~ optical delusion? Maybe bumpers on the cart for sharp turns?
DOUG, it's always a good time watchin you fabricate stuff! I just completed a log table for my splitter . To save a lot of money on metal, I bought a bed frame from the thrift store for 10 bucks . Sure, it took some time to fabricate, but as you, I enjoy it when a plan comes together.
Great job Dough, I think the gooseneck will out live the trailer! If you got an Irish Wolfhound and trained her to put sticks in the trailer you would not have to move!
That larger tree will create the need for a second axle, wider tires and clearance lights... Of course, I'm being silly. But, that thing is (I hate to say it...) cute! Great ideas and I hope the undercarriage of the golf cart is stout enough to withstand what you might do to it. Be well, be safe!
Outstanding thinking, design & execution. It’s always a joy to here those wheels turning. Something good always comes out it. See you in the next installment.
I’m sure you designed this for your particular use case and terrain, but was wondering if you have enough clearance between the horizontal goose neck piece and the tailgate to traverse gullies and uneven ground. Great job!
I would have been very happy if Doug were to build a cart on his own with ☠️ (his trademark) symbol on it. Doug's workmanship is 2000% more standard than the cheap & fake products of 🐉. Adam must advise his best friend.
That's pretty slick! I think I know the intended use for this though. It will probably look pretty good full of ice and beer...and make for a nice drive over to Adam's pond this summer! :)
Nice job. It appears that the gooseneck doesn't line up straight with the original hitch. Maybe camera angle?? Gooseneck hitchs tend to crack at the point where the vertical and horizontal pieces come together. I would suggest that it might need to be fishplated in that area to withstand the stresses from being pulled with a heavy load. Oh, and I really expected that you would powder coat it. Thanks for the video.
Doug, I'm impressed with your ability to solve problems. On Rockhill Farm I saw your skid steer track tool. I was wondering if you are considering making and selling it. I would be interested if so.
Nice fabrication. In hindsight, shouldn’t you have done that with the larger plastic bed dump trailer that the big box home improvement stores used to sell for $150? They will hold way more sticks. I do the same thing with that trailer and my zero turn. I have to set the brake to hop off or the safety switch will shut down the engine.
Nice job. Now you just need Adam in the passenger seat to pick up the branches.
Doug would have had to redesign and fabricate the leg room and seat height !
I would rather see Adam in the cart if he fits😂

Exactly!

The quality of your builds is amazing!! Thanks for sharing
Something tells me that trailer will be getting bigger someday...Great job Doug!
Great job! Every time i see you fabricating, it move me closer and closer to getting a welder. Thanks for another great idea!
I really enjoy fabricating and you wouldn’t be sorry if you owned a welder.
@Steve Hennessy - Me too! I see Doug's cool projects and think "I need to learn to weld!"
Looks good . Should be really handy. Enjoyed the video. See you on the next one.

That is awesome!

Hahahaha, there’s got to be a better way!

That sure came out awesome. Great fab work. Maybe you should consider manufacturing these and selling them to people with the same model E-Z-GO!
I need a neighbor Doug.
I don’t think there are any houses close by for sale…. Sorry
Wow…love the fabrication vids, Doug. Creative mind…with the “make things happen” skills. 👍
Thanks 👍
Nice work once again Doug😊🇦🇺
I was laughing so hard at “so this is gonna be the very first…. Harbor freight…. Goose neck…. Golf cart…. Trailer” lol
Lol, kinda covers it all
You sir are a true craftsman / builder / fabricator /painter, my hats off to you ☺☺
I have an older one and added white oak underneath the top lip to reinforce the sides- added a lot of strength to the sides.
Great idea!
Doug great job on the mods to the cart. You have great ideas for content. Carl FONDEROSA FARMS MD
Bad ass little trailer
Love these types of videos Doug. Very inspiring
I like the shields on your milling machine. The trailer turned out nice also like the fabrication videos and shop updates.
Glad you like them!
It's a good thing to have "Thinkers" in the World! AC

Thank you Jim!
Absolutely fantastic video, the fabrication ones are my favourite. Awesome result, you have really good ideas
Thank you very much!
Decent little project, I like it
Another great project, Doug!
Thank you!
Great video Doug. I was thing about a small light weight trailer for my Craftsman yard tractor. I never thought of checking out Harbor Freight.
Glad to help
pretty neat setup... thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
Man you work very quick! One hell of a fabricator i hope to be as good as you one day.
I appreciate that!
Nice build Doug 👍👍
Always enjoy the fabrication videos!
Love it Doug. Great projects

Yes, it has 2 inches of clearance and shouldn’t get hung up. If it does, I sent it too big anyhow.. lol
Nice Doug.....with my small trailer I added 2 eye bolts on both top sides so I can use them as tie downs. Keeps all branches in the trailer.
Great idea
A BETTER WAY! Tim in northern TN
Man that thing is cool. Awesome job.
Nice. Very good work
Good job. The extra length is definitely a good thing. Although I think you might have to switch to a 2 5/8 hitch .
Lol, and a 1 ton truck!

I’d buy his…if it came with delivery to northern TN! Tim

Good call!
Excellent job Doug
Thank you kindly
I thought everything at Harbor Freight was heavy duty 😲🤪😉🤣
Have a Jesus filled day everyone
Greg in Michigan
Nice work 👍
Thanks 👍
I will no longer think of that music as dub-step, it shall now be know as “Doug-step”. Carry on.
Harbor freight trailer weight limit 600 lbs. Doug's gooseneck weight limit 6 tons.
Lol, I’m sure it will get tested!

I have this trailer. The paint came off in sheets. Hope you have better luck
Oh, I can wait.
Doug, I'm impressed with your ability to solve problems. On Rockhill Farm I saw your skid steer track tool. I was wondering if you are considering making and selling it. I would be interested if so.
I can’t ship at this time. Sorry
@One Eye Customs ok, thanks. Hopefully you can in the future or partner with someone who can.
can't believe you didn;t make the cart yourself.....gotta be a better way man....all the best
There is no suspension on the trailer, though. I wanted a trailer to convert to a tag-a-long type of passenger trailer.
That'll work.
way cool
Side by side tires would rip up your yard too
Now paint the golf cart red😂🤣
I agree, that would definitely match better.
LOL, I thought it was going to be a mobile cooler for golfing !
It just might be… 😁
I saw someone didn’t like the music…well I did.
Thanks, can’t please everyone! I like to add the music.
Nice fabrication. In hindsight, shouldn’t you have done that with the larger plastic bed dump trailer that the big box home improvement stores used to sell for $150? They will hold way more sticks. This was the absolute cheapest one I could find!
I want to buy an electric golf cart just so I can do this.. Lol
Thought the ending might be a red gift to your bride!
You are quite a fabricator.
What’s your price to move to SE Wis?
It depends, what’s the weather like there?
Does this thing work good?
Yes behind my electric cart
Found your channel looking for golf cart trailer hitches. Thought about subscribing but after enduring that gawd awful background music I'll pass.
Thanks, it’s not for everyone
Patent pending
Love it ! Although I had to just watch muted..…could not stand the music
