  • Close to optimal lap in tricky server conditions: high track grip but temperatures low enough that the tires are cooling off by the end of the first lap.
Setup optimized for lateral grip and front end response, which makes the car tricky to balance at the limit but allows it to carry higher minimum speeds with less front-end scrub.

Incredible run man, I'm not even in the 36's with the same car yet.
Could I ask you how you got into professional racing ? It would be very appreciated and interesting to see your career path

Man, that's a great question and a long answer. The short story is that I wouldn't consider myself a professional in the sense that I wasn't paid. The sport is not a meritocracy, and the jump to 'professional' from club racing is mostly dependent on how much money you can spend. In my case, this means I've won everything I've competed in but don't have a path forward, and that story is not unique.
I've decided to take a step back from racing temporarily, and assess what level of competition I'd like to pursue. Do I throw myself at sim racing, where money isn't a limitation; do I set laps in my GT4 RS and continue to autocross, which is still very satisfying to me... On the plus side, I see additional one make series springing up across the country, including Mustang Challenge and GR86 Cup, broadening the field of options. My hope is that over time we see a trickle down in interest from fans from the more popular series, larger fields across these series, and a shift from racing as business to racing as competition - but we'll see!
I will say that a racing 'career path' in the sim world is totally valid and something I'm still thinking about. That's the only true meritocracy.
