@2:00, Rhaenyra wants “battle and glory” because she has never seen combat. She has never kill anyone. I think that attitude is going to change drastically over time as the show progresses. I like that twice in the show they had a male warrior talk explicitly about how there is nothing glorious or noble about killing people. It’s sad, brutal, nasty and smelly as Robert Baratheon and Dickon noted. Due to the nature of the world they and we live in, it is sometimes necessary. But it should never be something a sane moral person relishes or looks forward to.

The author wrote ALOT of books about Westros and these families, I think we can look forward to them picking more important events & titles from that series to bring to the screen. If they do 'The Mad King' it will probably be just about him with a little 'Maegor I' thrown in (He was the CRUELEST King of that family)
You mentioned about aegon, to tell u honestly, aegon’s conquest is just like season 7. People will be bored watching wars and dragons in every episode, no political intrigue, no small council fight. Aegon’s conquest can only offer battles.

In the rules of jousting, the defeated rider could choose hand to hand combat, but the risk was to the death. So it was either yield in hand to hand or die fighting.
It isn’t about him thinking that his daughter isn’t worthy, it’s that it has to be a son. It’s a slap in the face to his eldest cousin Princes Rhaenys. They held a vote at Harenhall to make him the heir over her. He actually made a mistake making his daughter the heir.
I dont think it's ever a case of not thinking his daughter is worthy I believe its more the realm won't accept it and it would lead to anarchy. The male heir is tradition and going against that takes crazy guts, especially when there's is a strong male lead already for years in Dameon
Great reaction! Isn't it interesting how current events in this fictitious kingdom mirror the events in our own? As a Black American man, I particularly found the lack of a woman's body autonomy to be most troubling! The royal birth scene and the King's Hand sending his daughter in to "comfort" Viserys, is right in line with a bunch of male law-makers today. Many of which believe that a woman should defer to them (The State) or her husband's wishes/desires as to whether she should give birth or not...and that rape victims should give "comfort" to their abusers, by being forced to carry their attackers seed to term. Wake up, women!
We know now that Aegon foresaw the coming of the Night King and White Walkers. He just didn't know how far in the future it was. And this knowledge was passed to each Targaryian heir but by the time of Daenerys there was nobody left to tell her or her brother
Dany not having a saddle made no sense lol she woulda been scraped up by the dragon fr they pose to have them. 21:52 Well, to give as much of a non-spoiler answer: this is covering one of the most chaotic periods in the Targaryen era, which happens to have GRRM’s favorite character, Daemon Targaryen.
The F word has been in the English language for a long time. And it’s other forms existed in German and Dutch. The German version meant to strike or hit, the Dutch used it in the sexual manner

And Unfortunately they won't be covering the Mad King as he comes qbout 100 years after the ending of the events of the "Dance of The Dragons" however they made do the "Roberts Rebellion" as a series which covers the Mad King and the events that lead up to Danerys birth and the events of the main series. There are so many events that can cover, Aegon Conquest is about 150 years before the events of "House of The Drago" that also could be a series and many others.
To be fair to daemon he was able to drastically reduce crime in a very short period with what he did and the people were breaking laws and those were the punishments, the council was mad because of how they did it in public en mass like that
"When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die." Cersei Lannister; in the novel Game of Thrones and the TV series. In "House of the Dragon", there are some characters who don't want or did not want the Iron Throne - Viserys doesn't seem to have wanted it, Daemon, contrary to some opinions, doesn't want it (he does want his brother's approval/attention and everybody's adulation), Otto doesn't want it for himself but for his future dynasty, Alicent doesn't want it; Corlys Velaryon is still angry about his wife Rhaenys' not having won the Iron Throne (more angry than she is by now)...Otto is not quite as capable as Tywin, nor as wealthy, nor as cold.
as for the bad pregnancy knowledge irl and in the show its considered a sin to disect/vivisect dead bodies. Maester Qyburn is stripped of his chain in Got for examining bodies
random question: does it say in the books how the mormonts got a valyrian steel sword? I cant remember. I only ask because, what if George reveals in the show that dark sister was given to the northerners at some point during or after hour of the wolf and “longclaw” was actually dark sister in disguise.
My understanding... there should be 10-20 dragons in this series. The Mad King will not be involved in this at all. This series revolves around the Targaryen War called The Dance Of The Dragons only
I have a strong feeling that the brother is the reason why the King got that nasty infection. Notice when he cut his finger on the iron throne? His brother is plotting. I could be wrong 🤷🏾♂️

Daemon on his Rudy Giuliani. On some broken window policing shit.
Her little finger quote 🤣I imagine that was GRRM trying to figure out the line out loud, trying to figure it out and then spending days on it pondering, thinking, "Man I almost got it. I'm so close." Which is why it takes him so long to finish a book.
😂😂😂
Game of Thrones lore says,"if the iron thrones cuts you then you are not worthy to be king,' something like that. That why they keep showing it.
Ooohhh
"When you play the Game of Thrones you win or you die!" _Cersi to Ned Stark, S1_
*OR* you're 'murdered' on your _'birthing bed'_
Ladies, they're just trying to tell the story of 'The Dance of the Dragons' from what I understand, they're not trying to bring this up to Dany & Jon's time. I don't know how many seasons it will take them to get to the actual event but I wouldn't expect them to go much _beyond_ that point.
The author wrote ALOT of books about Westros and these families, I think we can look forward to them picking more important events & titles from that series to bring to the screen. If they do 'The Mad King' it will probably be just about him with a little 'Maegor I' thrown in (He was the CRUELEST King of that family)
This is the same type of periods where people didn't even understand sterilized equipment.
The best Doctor Who, charming, funny and genuine star power
He is my fav! I was so sad when he left. - Alyssa
@@WhatWeWatchin We've lost him to Hollywood now but he still says Doctor Who is his favorite role god love him
🤣🤣Im dying from yall reaction when the jewels are cut off🤣🤣
“When you play the game of thrones….b****es get shot.” 💀💀💀
🤣I fucking love y'all Daemon look like it spells Demon 😂
You mentioned about aegon, to tell u honestly, aegon’s conquest is just like season 7. People will be bored watching wars and dragons in every episode, no political intrigue, no small council fight. Aegon’s conquest can only offer battles.
Just found you guys. Lady on the right (Alisha?) is giving me serious Alex Kingston vibes and I'm here for it. Totally about to binge a bunch of your channel!
Then that means it was for nothing.
I dont think it's ever a case of not thinking his daughter is worthy I believe its more the realm won't accept it and it would lead to anarchy. The male heir is tradition and going against that takes crazy guts, especially when there's is a strong male lead already for years in Dameon
I didn't know I needed to watch other black women watch house of the dragon but I'm so glad this exists YALL ARE SENDING MEEE!
I love that Hendrix shirt.
Hello Ladies. Aerys II was the name of the mad king. Deanerys father.
Thanks!
Dany not having a saddle made no sense lol she woulda been scraped up by the dragon fr they pose to have them. Daemon was doing that to known criminals not innocent people those were rapists and murders also Targaryens are known to have dreams of the future. Otto literally started with daemon lol he the one to bring yo the wife first.
Oh y’all are some beautiful intelligent black queens! Lemme give this page a sub, I like y’all energy ! Made a fan outta me today
“He’s not Prince William, he’s Dr.Who” see, this is why I have a crush on this woman lol. Great reaction as always. It’s really messed up the king didn’t even warn his wife what they were doing. Didn’t ask her. Not a word. So sad.
When you play the game of thrones you win or you die. It was a Cersei line
Thanks!
One of the best reactions

Well, to give as much of a non-spoiler answer: this is covering one of the most chaotic periods in the Targaryen era, which happens to have GRRM’s favorite character, Daemon Targaryen.
Great reaction guys 🙌
If they tell the story of the mad king that will probably be in Roberts Rebellion series if they ever do it. Mad Kings name was Aerys.
Ladies! It’s been a while, glad to be back with y’all
Algorithm really had my back this time
When they cut that guys junk off, he farted. I kid you not! Go back and listen! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣 will do!!
The F word has been in the English language for a long time. And it’s other forms existed in German and Dutch. The German version meant to strike or hit, the Dutch used it in the sexual manner
Why is some of your recent video all only 480p?
It’s uploaded at 1080p. Are you able to change the setting in RUclips? Not sure what’s happening. Sorry
@@WhatWeWatchin No, your recent video including this one is still only 480p. I'm able to watch other video at 1080p. Can someone else confirm this video is in 1080p?
Daemon is not what we may expect.....
Longclaw is definitely not Dark Sister. I don't want to give any spoilers here, but Dark Sister is MIA.
oh wow
Unfortunately thats how cadavers were surgically opened.
My understanding... there should be 10-20 dragons in this series. The Mad King will not be involved in this at all. This series revolves around the Targaryen War called The Dance Of The Dragons only
*Your Lady Wife* is sorta like *Your Lord Husband* but it does sound funny.
I have a strong feeling that the brother is the reason why the King got that nasty infection. Notice when he cut his finger on the iron throne? His brother is plotting. I could be wrong 🤷🏾♂️
HOTD will have 5 seasons
Omg are you guys gonna watch game of thrones as well?
Jeg har lige fundet ud af House of the Dragon er kun til hvid mennesker
@25:05, seems to me that Royal family tree needed to branch a bit more. Viserys and his Queen were cousins…Targaryen family values.🤢🤮
