I have the small 18v makita right angle, it’s the brushed one from Japan with the recessed metal chuck. It has so much torque I haven’t used my hole hog since I got it.
Thanks for commenting timx3! That is great to hear that the Makita does the job. I had a corded Milwaukee right angle that had the body of a corded Sawzall but the head of a right angle drill. That tool had all the torque I needed but was corded. I like the smaller cordless sizes but in DeWalt....in my opinion, they could improve on this tool in function and form.
Hey Spence! I have to say thanks to you for a great recommendation that you made. I got some of the yellow tipped caulk tube savers with the "plastic nail" attached and I used it on a tube of caulk that I was using a few months back. I took that tube out over the weekend and took the yellow cap off and put it in my caulk gun wondering if it was going to be ok. Not only was it ok, but it was just as "fresh" as it was when I first used it. I used to use those "little red caps" that are kind of like caulk tube condoms and they work, but I have found that the rubber dries out and cracks, allowing the end of the tube to dry out a bit. You can still forcibly get the half dried caulk out and get to the fresh stuff, but it is still frustrating. The new ones work much better in my opinion.
Great to hear that my experience was also yours on a pretty neat little tool that turns out to be very practical. Thanks for letting me know it worked out! And.....thanks for the comment as always
lol, I just used my 12v milwaukee right angle drill, to clean the tile grout of the house. Works great with brush drill bit. Unfortunately I should of done it and left it black.
I never knew that would work with a drill and brush! Live and learn. Thanks for commenting! My wife has twice now, painted grout with a special paint made just for it. Once to change a color and once to cover hard water stains that refused to clean up

@@ex8280 good luck with the project --- we have had good success over the long term with minor touch ups along the way.
