    God knows all possible results of our lives within the thousands of possible choices we may choose... we have free will, but he is way ahead of us too... and He does allow for a choice, knowing about something is not agreement with it necessarily...

      With that, are you saying that God looks through time to see what will take place, or that the future is already written out and God has nothing to do with it other than that He just simply "knows" what's going to happen? I'm genuinely asking, because we Christians love to say "God knows all things", which is true, but often times we say that in the sense that God has nothing to do with it other than that He just knows. When I read about the sovereignty of God in Job, Psalms, Daniel, Ezekiel, and pretty much every book in the Bible, I read of a God who knows all things because He has decreed all things.

    I PRAY each night that God will protect me from death - so that I may live. Some might argue that this not how I should be. I’m not saying that I love the world but God Himself does tell us that we should strive to live a good Christian life so that our days on Earth will be lengthened. Thus, as the gentleman points out we should not presume on living another day. HOWEVER, there is AN example of the Lord relenting in the Old Testament. I believe in was King Josiah (correct me if I’m wrong). He was told that he was “to get his affairs in order as he was going to die”. Now, this particular King turns his back and reminds the Lord of all of he has done. Gutsy. Now the Lord relents and tells him, “I will add 15 years to your life”. So yes there are times that God may change His mind. PRAY.

    If HE decides when someone dies does HE also decide how they die? Such as a little girl that is tortured and murdered?

    The LORD GODFATHER in Christ Thinks of Your Soul in Christ as Eternal Being and Not Dead.for as HIS SOUL LIVES Everlastingly so Also Our Souls in Christ Lives Everlastingly.The Flesh has time and it ends to death, but Our Souls in Christ has no time for It Lives Continually Everlastingly.

      Let me fix your gibberish. You didn't need to try and show off, you could just have said,
      Your soul lives on in christ because he is everlasting.
      The flesh has time and it ends to death???
      Are you quoting scripture. As fact?
      🤦

    I'm confused. If God determines when we die, then if someone wants to take their life, they cant since it's not their time according to this argument?

      And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

      It wasn’t their time! That’s why people who try to end it all wake up still alive or people try to kill you and you survive it.. it was not your time

    It is known but God has much more important things to do. It's just not about you, but, of course, you won't ever accept that.

    I have a question about this. If I am a believer who has backslidden for example, and has sinned in various ways, will God shorten my life because of this? Something I have always wondered

    • @rykerhasyounow
      @rykerhasyounow 2 года назад

      No. You are completely fine. You could murder 10 babies in cold blood, and if no human being catches you, you could live a long and full life. Providing your conscience is ok that is. 👍

    • @ScorpioDiva1112
      @ScorpioDiva1112 2 месяца назад

      No. He already knew you would backslide and “slide forward” before he decided the days you will have. It’s a predetermined thing.

    The short answer is no.
    For starters god is a symbolic figure used to try and represent the unknowns in our universe. It is not a physical manifestation of a human but something humans create to take responsibility for what we don't yet understand and therefore fear. We fear the unknowns especially if they cause us trauma. Like death. Unfortunately, the opposite of knowledge is gained when trying to ask such questions, as youre perpetuating the void of real answers. Want to know if "god" knows when you'll die is to ask the universe if there is a way to predict your death. Our current understanding of the universe and the chaos in which it seems to operate tells us, that this is currently impossible. But more study is needed. Always.

    Wait so let me get this straight we don’t need to lock murders up in prisons as god already decided it was time for that victim to go on that day that minute that second that way. And as long as the victims family believes in god they have no need to be sad as this life on earth is only a stop of point and test place leading upto heaven/hell so as long as the victim was good and didn’t sin/repented enough they have gone to the better place so the murder was a good thing in that sense. So glad I have a brain and I’m an atheist.

      None of us are good we all deserve hell. I understand your reasoning but our ways are not God's ways. Our mind is limited God's is not. If anything thank God your still here to seek him with all your heart while he still can be found. We live in a fallen world because we turned our backs on God. That's the reason for all of this tragedies. I don't claim to know all the answers but I do know that Jesus Christ is the only way. We all have free will to do what we want. Now can God stop tragedies from happening? Yes!!! He can do what ever he pleases. Don't worry so much about why this? Why that but rather be more concerned with "YOUR" PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP IN CHRIST. You choose not to believe well that's your choice. That's your destiny. But don't think you are superior just because others do. Apperantly you're seeking truth, reason you are on this video commentary. And that's a good thing! We all want and seek truth. Jesus will answer you if you humble yourself probably he already did but you might be blinded by pride....I don't know but don't allow this crazy world to take up that void in your ❤ that ONLY JESUS CAN FUFILL. John 3:3

      There is _no such thing_ as a "good person". We've all sinned and we all deserve to suffer for our sins in hell. However, while we were still sinners, Christ died (Romans 5).
