Renault master easy driveshaft and bearing removal - no special tools

Repairing a driveshaft intermediate bearing on a renault master/Opel movano/Nissan ns400 without special tools. Includes easy method for removing the driveshaft without having to remove the lower ball joint.

That's an impressive show of "I can do it" attitude in action & problem solving with such basic tools as that. And a patient approach showing good judgement (only comes from experience).
Very needed for this van, as Renault dealer service shops are making it so hard for drivers.

Did that plastic fill insert (on gearbox) have threads & unscrew? Can it be reused or need to get new one?
I hate all the use of plastic in or on critical engine components.

Thanks! Yes the plastic insert is threaded and has a rubber seal. It would probably be wise to at least replace the seal whilst you have it removed, however, I didn't and have had no issues 10k km later.
