Amazing time doing some Bird Photography in Ecuador: ruclips.net/video/5vc-LKWHFQ4/видео.html
Without a doubt the most likeable birding guy on RUclips.
Awh that means a lot, thank you!!
Bird up!
This was such a stunning location! I'll try to return here soon and hopefully get some Warblers. Happy Birding!
Thank you for very informing videos! What gimbal do you use for 200-600mm lens? I understand you have listed one here but isn't that a motorized gimbal?
Excellent video. 200-600 + Sony A7rv good stuff..
Thank you! Took a bit of time, but I'm really comfortable with this setup now!
What's not to like?
I LOVE your videos!!
I loved the video! It is a beautiful location and you got some outstanding photos :) Your videos keep getting better and better and I love seeing photographers exploring locations close to home, would love to see more like this. Thanks!
Thank you so much! Very happy to hear 🙂
Very cool video. We have Sapsuckers in our trees all the time and have several nice shots of them. Beautiful bird for sure.
First cup of coffee and a great video what a way to start off the day. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed. I stayed up late finishing up this video, so my first morning coffee turned into 3 pretty quickly 😅
Absolutely beautiful. So enjoyable. Thank You

Great shoot 😍👌👌👍👍
I love your videos! They are also a great way for me to learn about the bird species of North America, I was supposed to be visiting Canada right now but sadly my trip was cancelled due to Covid. Hopefully I'll get to see some of these species next year!
It's a great location loved it 👍
Glad you enjoyed 😁🌲
Amazing Stefano as always beautiful content.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely 💯 on the edit sir! Wonderful captures and just loving the content! 🍻
Thank you! Hoping to capture some better footage the next time I'm here. There's so many flowers about to bloom so hopefully can get some macro shots too.
@@StefanoIaniro that would be cool, looking forward to it!
Looks like a good place for birding. Great shot with the gears!
It was a great day! Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for sharing..happy birding.
Thanks for watching 🙂
Its cool
Hey Stefano! Just found your channel and am really enjoying seeing some of your Canadian birds! So exciting that you saw that bear too - completely unimaginable for me here in New Zealand to have such big animals walking around. Can't wait to watch more ☺️☺️
I was supposed to visit New Zealand this year. Would have loved to see all the endemic species. Glad you're enjoying some of these Canadian species!
You and your videos are a gem! Always looking forward to the next one. Jealous of the jacket. 43°C here in Arizona this week.
Thank you! And wow! The sun came out and it was 15 here and I was too warm haha. 43 is next level though! 😧
You look so authentic! Thank you so much for sharing this, I just clicked the follow button 👌 Btw this location looks gorgeous!!
That means a lot, thank you! 🐦
Great video. Where in BC was this taken? I was in Vancouver and Vancouver Island last year and did some birding while on a kayaking excursion. Canada has such great wildlife. I first got into birding in rural Nova Scotia, and have made trips to bird in different provinces in each of the past 4 years. Unfortunately , not this year with the coronavirus has forced me to stay in the U.S. this year. Keep posting your videos as it giving me ideas of where to go in the future.
Really enjoyed this video you should definitely come back to that forest and do another video on it. Happy Birding!!
Thanks so much! I will try my best to get back here 🙂
Welcome to or back to BC, looks like you got a wonderful area to explore. I always enjoy seeing someone else's take on my province.
Thank you! I spent a month in BC during last year's field season, and was really sad to leave. I'm hoping I stay here all summer 😀
Beautiful! I would love to see more videos of the Forrest.
Glad to hear, I'll try my best to get back soon 🙂
Always enjoy your videos Stefano. Thanks. Please identify the park and location in BC.
New to your channel. Loved your pond. The thaughts process and strategic planting for bird attraction and self maintaining. "If you make it they will come" while you reap the reward! Interested in any additions even the blind, thank you!
I love u r videos 👐
Thanks so much!
Great job, always nice watching a Montrealer 😊
Thanks so much buddy!
Nice images as usual Stefano. Welcome to BC. 😊👍
Thanks a lot, Bill! Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you brother.
Great video again 👍🏻
Thanks so much 🐦
What kind of tripod are you using? thanks!
Good one bro!
Thank you!
fantastic thankyou what park where you in ??
Thanks for sharing, this is great.
Is your full time job as a bird photographer?
for Bird In Flight... a7r4 and 200-600.. is it a good combo?
That's really nice. Maybe if the video was longer it would be better ;).
I Really enjoying this video in the forest because I planned to go to Canada this summer holiday but it was unfortunately canceled due to covid 19 :(
Haha, I thought this would be a longer video but it took us so long to find this place 🤦♂️ That's such a bummer, I hope you were able to reschedule. At least Canada is pretty scenic year-round, so if you did reschedule you should still get some stunning sights!
i m planning to purchase sony a6400 and sony fe 200-600mm, how is the combination in terms of image quality and autofocusing performance?
Wao Zoom
Cool video ... any tips for shooting the tiny warblers .... keep up good work !! 👍🏻
Thank you! One thing that works really well is trying to get to a higher ground. Since most of them are usually high up in the canopy, being on a ridge that overlooks a forest can be really beneficial. Also, try and observe how they're foraging. They usually move from one tree to the next, so try to see which direction they're moving in and anticipate where they'll end up. If you can get them to come to you, it makes things way easier. Now is a good time to find blooms which attract a lot of insects. They like to pick off insects around those flowers, so also look for those!
A lot of people have been having AF problems with the A7RIV and 200-600 combo. I was wondering if you were having that problem as well? Seems like people are having a really low hit rate with the AF on moving subjects.
How do you keep the noise down when shooting at 1600 and 3200 ISO with the a7Riv? This camera is noisier than my a6400.
Hey, thanks for that video. Now I'm fully motivated to take my camera now and go to forest next to my home :D
Greetings from Poland!
I hope you will visit Poland some day to do some bird shots!
I hope you get some great shots when you go out! And that's a possibility, my girlfriend is Polish, so maybe one day!
Do you think the 600mm is more versatile than the 800mm?
You have given us viewers some fantastic videos, keep it up ,what do you do for your 12 hours a day normal job ??
Can you tell us were in British Columbia the park is you are in please ?
thanks again love your Chanel
That sounds like an incredible day! The first few days out after quarantine were very liberating. I hope you can get out and see some more species soon! Have a great day and be safe.
hola, because you prefer the sony a7riv to the a9ii for bird photos
Hi Stefano! Great video as always! Maybe you can make a video about what you do! Thanks!
Thanks so much! I mostly do wildlife surveys. Kinda like birding, but with a little more paperwork 😅
Hi r u shooting with electronic shutter or mechanical more often. I find I need to you the mechanical more with the 7r3
I use mechanical shutter most. Electronic shutter I'll only go to if I need to be completely silent.
Hi everyone,
I just noticed there is a firmware update for the Sony A7R4a as of yesterday that mentions it improves the overall stability and performance of the camera.
Has anyone had issues with the Sony 200-600mm on an A7R4a compared to an A7R4? Did anyone download this new software update and notice any changes?
I have this lens and have a sony A7R4a on the way. Monitoring the issues with autofocus on this combo has been a small hobby for the past few weeks.
Thank you very much!
Thank you for very informing videos! What gimbal do you use for 200-600mm lens? I understand you have listed one here but isn't that a motorized gimbal?
Glad you enjoyed! I don't use a gimbal for the 200-600, just a ballhead. Yeah, the gimbal in the description is the one I use when filming some broll/vlogs.
Geese anywhere are just downright defensive and angry I find 😅 i've seen them chase someone down a straight block just to protect their baby. 😅 I've just recently started bird photography and i hope to take great shots like this. 😍
I laughed when you said "my binoculars where fogged up" 😂
Hi Stefano! Did you see that the animal video company called The Dodo posted something about you on Snapchat? That’s so exciting! I’ve been following you for a while now and it was a great surprise to see your name and your photography being sponsored. Awesome job!!
Hey! No I haven't seen it. One of the social media platforms I don't have haha. Thanks for letting me know! 🙂
Wow! Where is that?
Very nice! Kinglets are treacherously difficult to shoot.
Haha, tell me about it. Not only are they fast, they really seem to stick to the tops of canopies here. I don't think I've seen a Ruby-crowned Kinglet below 20 feet all season.
1/250 at 600mm, that’s very brave of you. Decent pics though
Haha thank you!
Awesome. But the data you provided like exif data at 1:45 a bird. ISO 1250. I don't think so.
Might have to add some of those puns into the video.
Haha once the puns start, they never stop. It's a dangerous game 🤣
Nothing new to report as usual it’s an awesome video.
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you 😀
Stefano Ianiro Wildlife thank me? You Canadians are so nice and polite. :) That being said I don’t think where you record matters as much as your passion and happiness doing it. Just a great vibe.
Haha 😀 That's great to hear. I think I liked this location because there was just so much greenery. It means most plants and trees will start to blossom soon.
Stefano Ianiro Wildlife Oh I was referring to your channel in general. But yes this location was awesome as well. You know sometimes it might look ordinary for you because it’s somewhere you live but there will be plenty of people who never seen any of it before.
That's so true! Kinda like bird species. What's common for me is uncommon for others, making it a more interesting species.
Bravo 👏 to your girlfriend for supporting you on your hobby! And as a result we can enjoy your videos, you are definitely one of my favourite photographers, amazing pictures and huge respect for animals as well! Ps. When you’re taking pictures of wildlife you shoot on M mode? How do you cope with constant light changes when you must change f mode, shutter speed and iso ... is it experience now or maybe you can tell us the secret how quickly amend required changes to settings, as a beginner i do struggle a little with that. Stay safe all the best
Wow, thank you so much! 😀 The best mode to be in, in my opinion, is Manual mode but with Auto ISO. There's just so many changing conditions when it comes to photographing birds, that you'll be way quicker by having your ISO automatically compensate. There's also a neat feature where you can bracket your ISO with a low point and high point. I set the low point to the lowest ISO that the camera can go to, and my high point is usually 3200 or 6400 depending on the camera. If you're using Auto ISO but don't set a low/high point, it may jump to crazy high ISOs in darker conditions.
So with ISO on auto and my aperture set to wide open, I only need to focus on changing one setting in the field - shutter speed. Hope this helps 🙂
Stefano Ianiro Wildlife thank you so much for your time and sharing your knowledge! It’s extremely helpful tip for Me as I enjoy photography as a hobby and hope to be better with it! All the best and greetings from Uk 🙏
What lens did you use for your b roll footage?
The broll was the Tamron 17-28 on my a7iii
@@StefanoIaniro good.. the sigma 14-24 i got should do a good job for me then.
Yeah, if you're looking for something that's wide enough that will definitely do the trick!
What is the cheeseburger bird actually called?
The birds aren't Wild about your puns, ... they're livid! Your girlfriend must look past them... aren't You glad?😹
Hahaha. She pretends she doesn't like my puns but secretly she enjoys them 😁
Is the boy deluded, or is she really impressed with more than his birding image stabilization and Nature knowledge? 😹
I'm jealous, of course, I know ... nothing!
In BC and beyond, mother nature is incomparable, enjoy your photography adventures. Be well folks!
How much did you have to zoom in to capture that bear footage? It just occurred to me that you probably want to be far away when shooting bear footage 😂
Red breasted sap sucker has been added to your Pokédex
I should carry around a Pokedex for old times sake. 😎
