I never understood why a 29 year old man is always portrayed as a baby, and yet a 39 year old woman is portrayed as a 79 year old withered hag... Never understood that. It's completely fine if it were a 39 year old man with a 29 year old women, no awkwardness, no asking the age, no making awkward faces after knowing the age. Nothing. Just a simple normal relationship. I am eagerly waiting for such a film in which the age gap is a completely normal thing as in older man-younger woman films. Heck the age gap isnt even ever discussed or mentioned in the entire film and you can clearly see that the man is older. But all hell breaks loose when its an older woman-younger man relationship, and half of the film is just wasted on the "awkward age-gap".
Not sure if you're saying she's 39 in this one or not, but she's in her 50s so the age gap is more than 20 years. I still don't see anything wrong with that since they're both well into adulthood but I imagine there would be generational differences that would probably be tricky to navigate. To her friends, he is a baby lol
Bridget ? really ? she looks horrible, Colin is gone( wrong)and that boy is way to cute. Could they not have made her look better and act smarter ? it was cute..sort of 4 movies ago...imagine if she had become cool, fun ,sexy and got the boy!! that would have been a ''well done'' moment from Hugh Grant..he is looking very tired as well. Emma T rocks it of course!!
Nope! Not for me. I regret buying the book till date. Easily one of the worst purchases of my life. It came across as shallow. As if Bridget's life is all about finding a man, there's nothing more to it. Also, without Colin Darcy Firth, I am not interested.
So everyone's favorite character died🌝 I hope bridget decides to live on her own and stop depending on men for her happiness..
I love this franchise it's sweet and charming
I love this. Wholesome and real. Well, almost, but still wonderful! 🎉❤
