Hunting is probably the best way to get meat, its definitely more humane than how most companies produce meat and such
And then get killed because they have some type of disease that you don’t know about… genius idea.
@@lemorelgambino9882 thousands if not millions of people eat wild game. If there was a fatal disease we’d know about it. Genius.
@@rickybobby8704 yeah but how ? Would you know tho if it’s got a disease or not?
@@lemorelgambino9882you check it for signs of disease obviously or get meat tested for example CWD in some deer. Like I said thousands if not millions of people eat wild meat and if the animals were ridden with “deadly diseases” then people would be dropping like flies. Humans have been eating wild meat throughout history for millions of years. It’s actually how the world works. Not some grocery store, slaughter house bs. That meat is more harmful for you than wild game. Experience some real life.
@@rickybobby8704 but I mean where would you get it tested if it’s wild game. You would think that just cooking it well would kill diseases tho
The best hunters are the ones that respect the animal, and go for a shot that causes it the least amount of pain.

I feel like hunters are connected with their natural instincts and nature on a different level than others.
Can’t wait till I have the opportunity to become one
Yes, but only if they eat the meat too. Otherwise it’s just killing for fun and very, very low.
@@probablyeatingpotatoes2569 True
@@probablyeatingpotatoes2569 while I agree that you should eat what you kill, that has nothing to do with being in sync to nature. You still have to be channeled and focused in to be able to kill an animal. Arguably, a person who only “head hunts” or trophy hunts will be more jittery because he’s mostly paying attention to the prize of the game, instead of just looking at it as food on the table. There’s higher stakes for trophy hunters in their minds. Again, I agree with eat what you kill or put it to use but it doesn’t really translate over to the original comment.
@@molonlabe9785 yes, that’s true, but I just mentioned that if you don’t eat the animal you kill it’s not being ‘in contact with nature’ in my opinion. So that was what I thought when I wrote that comment.
@@probablyeatingpotatoes2569 gotcha, yeah the respect, thankfulness, appreciation and gratitude for the animal you’ve been provided with is so humbling and exciting at the same time. I like that this video isn't over bait....it's actually hunting
Hunting over bait is still hunting. Humanity has done this for hundreds of thousands of years. That's how a lot of hunting is done. Where do you think he is going to go deer hunting...in the mall? Would it be wrong to sit next to an apple tree while hunting if the deer go there for food? Is it somehow immoral to lie in wait next to a watering hole while hunting? When you go fishing, do you put bait on your hook or is that wrong too? If baiting was an immoral issue it would be banned...but it's not banned in most states.
I hunted over bait because my yard was only an acre. Didn't want to trespass ya know
There's nothing inherently wrong with hunting over bait. Hunting a deer over a cornfield and hunting them over a corn pile isn't particularly any different.
Here's the thing, there's places that banning bear baiting would effectively ban bear hunting altogether. Baiting doesn't work if you just throw a bait out there. It's like trapping. If I want to catch a raccoon I don't just set a baited trap in the middle of the woods. I go, I find that trail or den, or food source and I set my baited trap in that area on sign. It still requires scouting abilities and looking for sign.

Not judging educate me. I am not anti hunting at all. I am looking forward to my 1st hunt next Nov. I hope to bow hunt one day as well.
By the time fall hunting season rolls around the fawns are weaned off their mother's milk and fully capable of surviving on their own. So while some people may not like the 'optics' of harvesting a doe with fawns, there is nothing unethical about it. Especially if you live in an area with an overly abundant population of deer.
