I’ve been going the Seth Feider direction- super long fluoro leader to braid, for a lot of my fishing. Fluoro just too expensive, and I also can’t afford a really sensitive rod. A lot of times I don’t even get into the braid on a shorter flip. For buzzbaits and frogs I’m with Randy 100% braid.

I use braid to leader and therefore I use braid no matter what lure I'm throwing. Using a leader allows me to use premium flouro as leader, more versatility with leader material, minimal stretch and better sensitivity. Never had a leader knot fail me and I always use an Alberto.

So you want stretch when fishing a lure like a spinnerbait or chatterbait with a big heavy jig hook LOL. And with flouro and a texas rigged worm, I need a $500 Megabass rod to feel the same "tick" I can with my $100 rod with braid.

Using braid to leader allows me to use high end fluorocarbon as a leader and it lasts forever!

Totally disagree. I have had zero problem using braid ( any colour ) with a fluoro leader. Fish always biting crankbaits, jerkbaits, nedrigs, etc... No problem.

Braided is pretty important in weed lakes where I live. Flouro ruins your presentation here because it's constantly fighting the grass. Braid pulls rigs right through.
