    Long time ago. In my country we’ve lived in a big city, couldn’t tell where the vegies came from, we used baking soda to soaked the veggies in for 20-30 minutes then washed them well with water every time..! Still doing it up till now..!😊

    I tried doing this many a time and everytime the Veggies wilted faster !! So stopped using it, I soak them in running tap water for 10-15 min which doesn't ruin them !

    You use COLD Water, or fruits/vegetables will wilt!🍒

    I have heard "bi carbonated of soda" you need to use, which i been using. Which one is? Some say, baking powder, some say bi carbonated of soda.??

    How about soaking some vegetables in baking soda and water overnight vegetables like broccoli, hard root vegetables like carrots and sweet and turnips and stuff like that overnight

    2 teaspoons of baking soda for every 2 cups of water is alot. Also do you just let them soak or do you have to scrub/wash them?

    Some uses salt or vinegar to get rid of insecticide or pesticides but thank you so much for your good idea. In Zulu language there's a saying which says a person learns until he/she dies.😂❤😅

    I can’t believe we are in the stage where we buy food for living which is so expensive and yet we need to go through all kind of cleaning process if not you will end up with some kind of major diseases! What’s wrong with our government and the farmers?!

    Not 100%??? Then whats the point of washing it with soda???just soak it in salt water for 10 mins and jus rinse it well and eat or cook it 😂😂
