I watched this episode and episode 3 yesterday with my Dad. I was excited to show him Lovecraft Country after I had seen episode 1 and loved it. This episode was really weird, I think, very trippy. I wasn't sure how I felt about there being wizards and stuff but I was like ok, let's see how episode 3 is. I'm not gonna spoil it for you since I think you're enjoying the show. But I gotta say by the end of episode 3...things just got much weirder. Episode 1 I would have given a 9/10, it was awesome, it totally had that twist at the end with the monsters and I was really invested in it. Episode 2 my rating dropped to 7/10 because it just was really weird...just all the plot details and what was happening. Episode 3 my rating dropped again to 5/10...possibly a 4/10, I just didn't like it...things got even weirder, to the point where serious moments that were meant to be scary, my Dad and I were laughing at it because of how silly it was. It just turned out to be a completely different kind of show than I thought it would be at the end of Episode 1. Yeah...at the end of episode 3 my Dad and I looked at each other and shook our heads, I don't think we'll keep watching anymore. Its just not our kind of show.
