Been in your shoes with my wifes diagnosis and extensive treatments five years ago. So good to know things are looking good for your mom, Keith. Hang in there. So glad to see a new offering, I really look forward to your videos. Thanks!
Keith, best wishes for your Mom's recovery. Thanks for the video, it made my day. Loved your method of keeping pressure on the bar while hammering away. The expression on your face when it broke loose was perfect.
Keith sorry to hear about your mom, glad to hear she made it through okay and is recovering. Had a tear in my eye the minute you told us and then the next minute laughing with the Jiffy Pop thing. Your a piece of work Keith! Stay strong brother! Best wishes to your family and happy holidays.
Thanks for all your past work Keith, you have put in a mighty effort to share your knowledge and give back to the machining community and a few of us wannabees too. Best wishes for your mums speedy recovery, my own mother had a breast removed on her 93rd birthday, and is still chugging along having turned 96 a few weeks ago. With the Festive Season upon us again, I would like to wish you and all your family all the very best for the coming year, with your mother getting the "all clear" from pathology real soon.
Best wishes for your Mom's full recovery. Thank you for taking the time to share the story and create another wonderful video. Being in business for oneself is very difficult at times - nobody pays you just for showing up, and the bills keep coming. I'm a one man auto repair shop, and can relate to some of the things I see you do by yourself - thinking the whole time I wish I was there just to hold the other end of something for you, then get out of your way. :) You have what I think are the best machine shop videos on RUclips - they're such an excellent mix of ingenuity, real life situations and working with what you have. Plus the humor thrown in here and there. Thank you.
My wife had cancer last year. Cape Cod Hospital took great care. She's cancer free today. Our prayers go out to your Mom, and let her know cancer can be beaten !!
I have had several projects that my local machine shop has done. They have saved the day for sure. I broke a ram off a cat 312 excavator and he welded the end back on, welded an ear back on a john deere 620 tractor belt clutch pulley, brazed a hard to find transfer case mount back together, re machined a flange back onto a turntable gearcase on our volvo 140 excavator ect. Neat to see how these projects are done.
Dear Kieth, not a slow down, you where working on your family. Thanks for sharing, it the whole picture I look at. I take care of my Mom and still keep a few things rolling in the shop.
Best wishes for you mother. No worries - take all the time you need, we understand! Family comes before videos! Thanks for sharing! Thanks for the video!

I'm glad your mom is going to be OK. That's something that weights you down for sure. It will be good. I found it inspiring that you could do a job like you did with a bit of sport and fun like your torque wrench. Well done.
Sorry that your family is having to deal with this huge issue. We lost my mother a year ago last October due to cancer. I am grateful that your mother's surgery went well. Praying that she is over the worst.
Keith, found your channel 3 or 4 weeks ago... I love your teaching "presence"... I am hooked... Been watching videos daily for the last week... I don't own a lathe or shaper... Just love to learn stuff... ANY stuff... After 70 years, I know I'm not too old to learn and days spent learnin' don't count toward my days here lookin' at the green part of the grass... Hope mom does well... Very well... Oh!, your sense of humor .... love it....
Healthy lymph nodes, I know that to be good news. I have been through it with my Mom. Thanks for sharing, Prayers are with you. Sounds like a good prognosis from what details you shared.
Healing prayers for your mother and comfort prayers for the whole family. Glad she is up and moving and hope she recovers quickly. I have walked the same path you are on so I have felt the anxiety and the unknown. Best wishes.
Glad to hear your Mom is hopefully past the danger, wish her well! On a side not ,when collapsing a cylinder after reassembly I used compressed air with a cone shaped rubber cork at the port. I used a regulator on the hose to prevent the piston from withdrawing too fast so no damage is done too the seal end. Raise the pressure slowly until the piston moved.
Keith - all the best for your Mom. 🎀 My mother went through the same procedure when she was in her mid 70’s and came thorough ok. Another great video - good to see how you tackle these job with the ingenious ways you achieve them! John 🇬🇧

Godspeed for your mom’s recovery and best wishes for your whole family, it’s amazing how many people never change your hydraulic oil ,they think it last forever

The very best for your mother man.I have out lived everyone in my whole family 14 or more , me the very last and i are 76 years 0ld sad but true: God Bless !
And they say physical comedy is dead, but after the huge wrench, chromed pipe, and really big hammer scene i say phooie to that. You had me laughing hard, mostly because of the number of times i found myself in similar circumstances. We all hope your mom gets well soon Keith!
All the best for your mom having an easy and full recovery and no future issues! Glad this job came along so we could see it, also so you make some Christmas money. :-)

Keith you're always good for a laugh. I do enjoy your videos and when your lead mallet flew away I could see your frustration I've been there! But when it broke loose and you almost hit the ground priceless and when you said once the wrench is straight it's back to torque lmao.
