- Masterbuilt Gravity XT | REVIEW VIDEO | Any questions you want answered?? With enough cooks under my belt I am ready to review this Masterbuilt Gravity XT... If you have any questions you want answered!
Let me know!! Развлечения
Tommy, in an upcoming video could you do an XT vs 1050?
Fathers day coming in fast brother, some of those econ savings w/ the 1050 might be great, or a real bummer, man.
Thanks for the featured and features videos.
Word
Few things I would like to see:
- Usage of a full pack of GrillGrate Brand Grates on the XT (maybe 1050 ones covering as much as possible) and any temp detection issues from the controller? (this was a problem on the 1050)
- Any improvements in "log jam" issues when using Charlogs from the hopper?
- Smoking options in the ashbin as far as larger than "chunk" size wood splits and do we still need to use something to raise them out of the ash? (use 6 inch logs here and a grate to lift up the logs for better smoking)
So I have the 800 had it for a little over 2yrs no mods...it is completely toast so my question is do you believe the xt will last at least 5yrs for someone that uses it regularly all year round...for 1500.00 I'm not looking to put another grand in mods to make it last. Really can't understand after seeing all the mods made for 1st gravity series lineup that masterbuilt didn't see this and line everything with stainless. I really like the concept and the 800 put out some great food but didnt last for the price so for 1500.00 that xt better be " extra tough"
By the way my issue with with wild fork was resolved and Tommy the ribs are F..kn Bomb! Thank you my bbq friend! Keep it going!!!!!
See ya soon brother ...
Is the built in thermometer accurate, instead of being off by 30 plus degrees like the originals?
Well we talked about the controller on one of your videos, but if you can go into more? That is what I am worried about. Also how is the insulation on it? Better than the 1050? Have you tried any wood in the ash pan? Ok I had more questions than I realized hahaha.
Have they improved their door switches? How about the firebox liner?
Thanks Tommy.
Can the 1050 griddle fit?
Since the chamber should hold heat better, How long can you go on one hopper with charcoal?
For someone who only cooks 2-3 times a month, would you recommend the XT, or a 800/1050 with mods? And which mods would make the 800/1050 into a poor man's XT?
I'd say wait for the new 600 cause you won't need mods. The mod package is about $350. If you can't wait, try to find the 560 on clearance. It's being discontinued. You might be able to find it for $300 or less.
Hey there, how are they running the fan?,,,lid switch or did they change??
I want one, but have limited space in my outdoor kitchen. Could you please tell me what the dimensions (width) of the XT if the left hand side shelf is not used?
I think i answered that in another post. Was that to you??
Could you provide overall dimensions with both side tables folded? Thank you!
Ill have this in Saturday's review video.
Hey Tommy😃I think this is your shortest video ever😆👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
My man....
Twice the price?! How is it worth twice the price? It seems pretty compareable to the 1050? I have the 1050- I figured they would fix some of the mistakes, and it looks like they did- like making the front tray larger, but twice the price? Almost the same ammount of cooking space... I don't get it.
Its night and day compared to the 1050 IMHO....Ill talk more about that in my saturday review video.
Can it function as an adequate warming oven for long rest of brisket @ 140 deg?
Ill discuss that in my review video, out Saturday am...
What are the inside rack dimensions from front to back? How many baby back and st louis ribs, briskets, chicken etc can you fit?
Ill discuss that in my review video, out Saturday am...
What is the lowest temperature that can be sustained for 4 - 6 hours?
Ill discuss that in my review video, out Saturday am...
