@@TheGypsyChic1 you’re welcome my dear! Watching you paint was very informative, and I found it very useful to see how an artist paints so I can get some tips. I got over my sketchbook no buy so fairly recently I bought three 100% cotton Hahnemuhle sketchbooks 😅, so right now I cannot justify purchasing another one 😁. Once those three are finished then I might try an Etchr 100% cotton sketchbook. However, I’m very intimidated by the size of the one you’re using in the video. I’ll get a small one LOL!

Thank you!! You can wait...wait until you have filled your old sketchbooks, and then treat yourself to this one! It really is a great sketchbook, when you are ready to try it. The only sketchbook I've tried that is better, is the Etchr Perfect sketchbook, which is like painting with Arches (But the most expensive, of course). So, start I would recommend to start with this one. ;)

This is a dream sketchbook, I am a big fan of mix media paper, I love thinner paper it dries faster and it saturated with water easier too.
Thanks, Julia! Yes, it is! The only one I've tried that is better is the Etchr Perfect Sketchbook, but it's even more expensive. So, this will be my go to! It works perfectly 99% of the time.
Love the lemon. Can you tell us what clip you're using on the sketch book to hold the pages back?

Hi, sorry for taking a bit to get back to you. Yes, as Ann was kind enough to mention...I used the gold clip linked in the description box. But, they have similar more affordable clips on amazon. I've had this one since 2018 and it's still beautiful. ;)

Etchr makes nice sketchbooks, probably some of the best commercial ones on the market. But I still prefer to make my own, especially given the cost. Have you tried making your own sketchbook? Also, did you ever paint something on the cover of this sketchbook? :)
Thank you! Yes, the Etchr sketchbooks are my favorite that I have tried, by far. When I have more free time, I would love to try to make my own...but I haven't tired that yet.
No, I have not painted this cover yet. I have painted the back of the Etchr landscape sketchbook. I shared my first time trying it out in my Arrtx Paint Marker review video. I am saving painting this cover as a reward for finishing the entire sketchbook. ;)

Eeeek woman! That's made my resolve weaken more! I never ever finish a sketchbook! Its two or three pieces in most - ooooh! Maybe I should try another.........I have no willpower......aaaagh!
Haha, sorry!!! I don't have much willpower either. All the pretty colors and new things get me every time. I think I spend as much time being creative to fund my lack of willpower, as I do playing with my new toys! ;D
I spend a lot of time thinking up good reasons to explain 'needing' yet another sketchbook or even more glitter paints! I'm also thinking I need to take a course on first aid..........my poor husband has a wallet attack quite often with my 'needing' habits!!!!!
Haha, I spend a lot of time finding creative ways to fund my splurges, so they stay guilt free! Credit card rewards are my favorite ;D
Buy it now because whatever it is will only get more expensive!
And you'll have it when you want it.
There is nothing quite so annoying as being inspired and wanting to use a particular art supply and having to wait to get it.

I'm not sure, but that is a great idea and might work!? Thank you!! I need to test some ways to see what works. Painting the cover works, but I really don't want to paint them all. Lol
