    I told my husband I wanted to make a table like that for the Sentro I got for Christmas and he was skeptical. Thank you for confirming that it’s possible.

    Thank you for demonstrating using the LB Homespun yarn with the Addi. I have tons of that yarn and didn't think I could use it on this machine.

    I always use a thick hair band and gather it in the center then I have three baggies of sand. I haven’t seen anyone use this method until I saw yours. Thanks for sharing as It feels great to see someone use about the same thing. And I totally am is stitched laughing because I feel the same way about red heart it is only good for practice purposes. Love this video.

      Hair nands will work. I have just always used the large clips. Thank you for the suggestion.

    Thanks so much, trying to get stuff ready for a fundraiser and Red heart has wrecked my nerves. This will help me. I felt like such a failure.

      Sometimes we all do. I have been knitting circular for over 15 years, flatbed machines before that. I have always used weights. This just seemed logical to me. Glad it helped and good luck. Thanks fie you comment.

    Thanks for these tips. I have so many skeins of that thick yarn left over from crocheting products. I have wanted to use it on my addi. Will definitely try the weights! What brand is your silicon spray?

      It is Sullivan's Silicone Spray. Purchased on Amazon. Thanks for watching.

    Stretching it? Does it make the project look like lace, like drop stitch? Sentro works well with #3 ,fingering or baby yarn red heart is t all that great and my machine does well with lion brand.

      I do it on all my knitting machines, flat beds, sock machines and these machines. Never had a problem. Good luck.

    I'm also wondering if this will work with cotton yarn?

    • @MadonnaDesigns
      @MadonnaDesigns  9 месяцев назад +1

      Cotton yarn is hard to use on these machines. I have used blends but 100% cotton does not stretch. It therefore has a hard time slipping over the needles/pins of the machine.

    Just pull the draw string from your casting and tie it with another piece of yarn!!

      Yes, that one is a 46 needle Addi machine. I do knit on several machines.

    Why not just stay away from RH and yarns that don’t work well on the machine?

    • @MadonnaDesigns
      @MadonnaDesigns  7 месяцев назад

      You can. I just like using the weight to prevent tuck stitches. I use Red Heart yarn. Some are just harder to use than others. So when I use RH or difficult yarns I use weights. Even easy yarns will tuck. That is why I did this video to show how for the weights.

    You already have dropped stitches. So what is the purpose of all this? Sorry, This is Tooo much. I don’t have a problem with
    Red Heart Yarn.
    Red Heart yarn is my go to. Especially for men’s hats and scarves. 🧣 On my 46 and 22 and my Michael’s Loops and Threads 40 needles machine.
    Good show. 😮
