    • David Sinclair: Living...
    Auren and David discuss the potential to expand the average human lifespan by decades. David challenges traditional notions of aging and emphasizes the need to embrace new technologies. They also discuss the benefits and drawbacks of standard anti-aging practices like interval training, fasting, and stress reduction.
    David shares his thoughts on what longevity medicines and supplements are most beneficial, and how to talk to your doctor about them. He breaks down which health metrics to monitor in treating and preventing aging. Overall, David offers an incredibly optimistic vision for what the future of aging could look like, and the science it will take to get there.

    This is amazing, that there is a "backup copy" in every cell. I am wondering, why this backup is not affected by ageing processes

    With what we know today, if everyone applied the same techniques and therapies - exercise, good diet, no smoking, limited drinking - all the obvious advice, but advice that many people don't follow , and NAD+ infusions and pills (I've gotten infusions to treat a drug dependency, and the results for my overall health were amazing, and I take pure NAD+ made by a naturopath, which is superior to NMN and NR), everyone could, today, reasonably expect to live to be 100.

      100 is not enough

    • @squamish4244
      @squamish4244 9 месяцев назад

      @@xenofontzaras2741 It's 20 years beyond the average, and 20 years is a long time. A lot of people would take that deal if we can't get past our genetic potential by then.
      But if I live to 100, that means it will be 2080 before I kick it, and if we haven't cracked aging by then or decades earlier, it would be very strange and involve obstacles we haven't seen and that haven't materialized in decades. Aka Aubrey de Grey's "seven deadly sins' of damage repair has been the same for 40 years, nothing new has been discovered.
      Then add to the fact that AI in even 10 years will already be far more powerful than it is are now, and by 2050...who even knows. Nobody knows.
      It's obviously the whole LEV concept.
      But my point was straightforward and uncomplicated - we already know how to get 100 years to become the new average, with methods that we have today, in most cases. It might not seem like a big deal to us, or 'not enough' but to a 70-year-old, another generation of life IS a big deal.

    Make people young again, all women looking like 20 years please... because longevity is impossible if the soul is no happy, social happiness is the first cause of long life, unless you are a yogui you can be alone, normal people need happy relationships to live long lives... but you can make people young again, just compassion make us younger, to sleep good you need to relax, friends help, yoga, and in sleep we recover because we dream something happy and fulfillment we wake up and stress, worry, guilt conquer us, but if not the dream continue and regenation even at wake time.... but a cocktail of substances can not only recover us also make us young again and is compassion, vitamin c high dose, probiotics, maca, zinc, resveratrol, metformin, good diet, yoga, meditation, forgiveness, being humble, service to other, fasting, mariguana, magnesium, lion mane, ashawanda, chocolate, at the right cuantities you will have the metabolism of 20 year old people and have restoration DNA cualitys, pls the nmn and you will sleep like a baby... fresh like lettuce

    David SinCLAIRE recently hyped a study of his, claiming that his proprietary supplement reversed aging in dogs. This led to professor Matt Kaeberlein and the former Dean of Harvard medical school, professor Jeffrey Heffer to make public statements against David Sinclair, Matt Kaeberlein states that after careful consideration I’ve pronounced my membership in the Academy for health and lifespan research for which Davidson SinCLAIRE is the president. I find it deeply distressing that we’ve gotten to a point with dishonesty and sides is normalized to such an extent that nobody is shocked when a 10 Harvard professor falsely proclaim in a pre-statement that the product is selling to pet owners has reversed aging in dogs. To me This is textbook, definition of snake oil Salesman.

The real profits come from selling to as many people as possible, as affordable as possible. Rich people will continue ue to pay high dollar for all new advancements as soon as available ( a continuous domino effect).
