Big Phil started off 7 points behind, seemed to be getting the best out of our players and we somehow went 2 points clear at the top, the players got dizzy….shat it again and we ended up 8 points behind, scunnered with these cowards failing every fkn week, cup final is looking like another shambles already, roll on the summer

Story of the season, started badly, picked up form, and went to bits at the businesses end. Big Phil says we are at the end of a cycle, but we were at the end of that cycle two seasons ago.
Taverneir is a LIABILITY. Most of the goals scored against us come from our righthand side.
If Balogun & Ridvan is fit then I would play them and Davies next week and I would take Taverneir out and play Dujon Sterling at rightback.
Remember the incident when Todd was fouled (which one of the many I hear you ask) but the ref decided to call the Hearts AND Todd to speak to them. Shankland was right there to show his support for his player but WHERE was Taverneir???
As much as we hate Scott Brown and Callum McGregor they are leaders and back up their players EVERY TIME.

The goals mainly come form our fullbacks and RCB position. Our midfield and forwards don't do enough to defend from the front.

First off thanks to CJ for lifting us and keeping us going through these dark times, with his humour as well making good videos that give insight and weekly football updates and previews in a way we can all relate to. CJ is one of us. Lundstram going on about weathering storms and now Wright thinking yesterdays game was a good game. What the actual F#ck has happened to this great club? The mindset is not a Rangers mindset. Thats a St Johnstone or a Hibs mindset. No wonder we choke and can't win titles when we send clowns like that out to represent the badge.
We are absolutely inept right now. It will take a freak game to win the cup final. All logic and facts point to another defeat. I wish i could be more positive but these players have sapped it all out of me

You're definitely not in the mood today. Saying it like it is. We're all feeling the same. Dessers isn't a striker, similar to Lafferty, can get a few goals and play well but shouldn't be relied upon to be main striker. But that whole defence needs replaced.

I would gladly have Shankland and Danilo as our main two forwards and Dessers as a really good part of the team for rotation. His attitude and effort is right. Though if we rely on one striker again and Dessers is your only real option and we have to over rely on him, thats not enough forepiwer to wi titles. Clement should be hoping that the board gives him the support to replace that defence, strikers and midfield. But we all know that won't happen.
We simply don't have the money to compete anymore. Celtic will win the league for years to come because in reality it's not even a contest anymore just when they clinch it rather than if. We are now closer to the other teams than we are to Celtic and I think the board have accepted that we are a second place team at best so they budget for that.
Regardless of this being a dead rubber fact remains im more confident that mob will win a game even when a goal down than we will being a goal or 2 up 🙃

If 😭😭😭 Shanks or Miovski had the chances that Dessers has had this season , they would be on record goals for a season near 50 leauge goals easy..
There is truth to that but Dessers isn't anywhere near being the issue of our failure. It is the defence. It is shocking defensively in both fulback and CB positions. Tav, Goldson, Souttar, Borna and Ridvan if he can't play much of a season have to go.

Arfield was a good wee player and gave his best but he was done. Colak was happy here and he could have helped a bit, but with that defence it wouldn't have made much difference. The defence is the biggest part of why we continue to lose. The spine of the side is rotten and weak.

Exactly. He scores against Celtic and Rangers, has over 30 goals and would no doubt bury goals for us. 28 years old, experienced in the league, in his prime. He is exactly what we need in the mix upfront with Danilo and Dessers. We also need some fast goal scoring wingers. We need strength and speed in our backline and midfield also.

We're dire in every area of the park. Can't tackle, can't head the ball, can't stop crosses, can't pass. The players simply think they are too good to do the basics. They are not. On today's evidence, we are on a hiding next weekend. Faith in Clement rapidly dwindling. Gutless display by a poor, sloppy side who just aren't good enough.

Typing this before listening to your take on things CJ. Tav today showed me that he's done at our club. He has gone massively down hill and his defending is getting worse. Won't say anymore about the bad but a thought Raskin was outstanding the day!!
Raskin I know was injured, but when he came back he should have been in ahead of Lundstram. He has sell on value and is way better. The manager needs to shoulder that one a bit for not giving him backing and game time quick enough during the run in. He gave Mgregor an actual battle when he came on as a sub.

Very harsh on the youngsters and I disagree, Mcausland is good enough. King the jury is still out for me , but a loan would do him good at an SPFL team. He is too young to write off. Sima was injury prone before he signed, and has been since. He can't play enough of a season regardless of how good he is. We have to learn and not sign injury prone types. Dessers can stay for me as a good team player and for rotation, but we need Shankland, and to get Danilo back. He will come good, wait and see. I agree with the rest though.

I can only surmise that the board have said "it doesn't matter if we don't win the league, we will sign Shankland in the summer at a lesser price and could still qualify for the Champion's League so no harm done". There you have it. Business decisions made with sound logic but absolutely no thought to capturing the fan's imagination or igniting their passion - because they'll all re-new their season tickets in the summer. Job done. Well business people only look at the bottom line - so if Celtic get to say 6 in a row... Season ticket money MUST be withheld by fans to show the board we aren't like the other lot. The amount of long balls we concede from is 100% embarrassing. Agreed CJ. We also have had 12,879 corners this season and you could count the amount of headed goals scored directly from that on 1 hand. Shocking. Obviously the delivery hasn’t always been great but FFS we need a big napper to win some of those too. Traditionally a strong point for Rangers is now completely toothless.

Too many of the regular faces over seasons tell a new man what he wants to hear, they do the new manager bounce and I reckon when the new boss makes them work at changing and challenges them to imorove and work harder, they down tools. The mentality is all wrong as well. Silva celebrating a draw on social media, Wright giving saying it was a good game and Lundstram saying we will weather the storm against Celtic. That mentality does not fit this clubs DNA. People are now just accepting it as the norm. It makes me FN furious.

Most of these guys are used to being second. Needs eradicated from the squad and the dressing room. Start with the captain then go from there. Young hungry squad is needed.

Only Problem with trying to get players out is. They Won't move if the Wages are not on a Par with What they are getting now. They will just sit in the Stands and take their wages. CJ.
Turned it on after being out and 3-1 up. The complacency of those players who all seemed to be passengers going through the motions of the game . A large clear out of them needed.
Need players who regard every game important regardless of the season being over they should strive to win at all costs for the honour and respeft of club and fans. Instead it was just turgid .
That obvious play to our back left happened 2 or 3 times crossed over the top to the free man and he eventualy got the goal.

I'm surprised the var and refs are still cheating. In our 55 season they stopped once the league was done but they are continuing this year for some reason which is strange.

Our defence is a shambles. Has been for several seasons. We scored enough good goals yesterday to win the match, but made schoolboy defensive errors to concede unnecessary goals. Shankland scoring just highlighted again our winter transfer blunder.
Dressers has had enough chances to match Shankland. If ,and that's a big if, he ever comes good we'll be singing his praises. As an example Solanke of Brournmouth, who Gerrard wanted to sign, was on fire this season following previous poor seasons.
Hopefully the manager will get the right players for the next season 😊
Another s**t show, can’t wait for season to end. Clement now has to shoulder some of the blame, especially as he’s been bleating on for weeks on how when he came in we were 7 behind. Well Phillpe we ended the season 8 points behind! If we don’t win the Cup next week then surely he has to be under pressure (FYI we won’t wind)
We were trending for worse than an 8 point gap when Beale was here. Had he been allowed to continue the damage would have been way worse. Clement needs to shoulder some of the blame, but bigger than that is the board and particularly whoever has signed off on so many injury prone players. Since Gerrard we have had way too many players with patterns or histories of injury before we signed them, yet we still take them, rather than see it as a red flag. So whoever has signed off on those deals along with giving Goldson £37k per week, Tav £30k, Lundstram £22k, Roofe £26k and Davies 27k per week needs removed from the building. Thats an idiot amd a huge part of why we have had these failings with guys missing constantly under 4 different managers. It has snowballed under Clement and that is not his fault. It is fully on those who run the club to fix. I saw last night we are being linked with injury prone Adam Traore. I honestly give up, if these people running the club are that stupid after so many ignored red flags. If Clemebt says yes to taking him he is a fool. I hope Clement is not a yes man, sticks to his guns and fights to fix this.

Spot on about Shanks mate, to get 31 goals playing for us is miraculous bearing in mind we often in games create zero chances for him. It's a fair point. Rangers may well have won the league if they had fewer injuries. That said, Celtic had injuries too.
Either way, Celtic are minted now, Rangers will have only modest funds.
