Alfred is the most BAD ASS butler of all time. His voice is intimidating in this show. Freakin great show
Lol at 0:27, he was like "what the fook does this bloke think he is, not paying attention to my master just because he is too young to chair the board's meeting?".
Yeah and this show explains why he so badass, he use to be in army, that explains alot
coming from the mouth of ra's al ghul, that is a big compliment.
@@Apocalypse9696 AHAHAHAHA GOOD ONE.
Well he is the son of The Doctor. :)
Young Bruce Wayne's very first life lesson: never confront a more powerful enemy in broad daylight with words. Instead, punch them at night. Remember, Bruce, you're not justice. You're vengeance.
Ian G he is both
Ian G he is vengeance, he is the night, he is well you know who
This comment aged well
Batman is a line between Justice and vengeance. Daredevil is Justice. Punisher is vengeance. Idk I don't really care I'm probably wrong. Tell me if I'm wrong because I always thought Batman was justice. But maybe him and Daredevil are both the line between Justice and vengeance. But Matt Murdock works in the day for Justice as a lawyer. Even if he may or may not be good.
Vengeance? LAME! LMAO
I can't wait until this kid grows up because he's gonna be one of the biggest actors in television/movies and I'm gonna be super proud
if drugs don’t ruin his life like 90% of kid actors
Why should that make you proud? You're raising him or helping him in any other way in his life's journey?
Damn imagine ten years from now he gets the Batman role that we all want too see. Not a fataffleck style. But a real godamn Batman 😍
just because he plays the kid doesn't mean he'll make a good adult.
For sure
Bruce may not be large but I like how he's taking charge.
Do you recommend this show? I've been thinking about watching it for a while but I haven't gotten the time.
He is getting pretty large physically now, he's taller than the Gordon actor and he's only 17
I remember reading from a manga that a when a rich son was 5, he learnt how to do calculus. So basically, anyone can be in charge if you're smart enough
Kyla E yes it is very theatrical. Fun. Crazy. Funny. Lolll
@@tekkenfan01 but he’s really skinny
Damn, they cut out the bit directly after that.
Alfred: Pancakes?
Bruce: Pancakes.
AspyHC I know that was funny. The bit before it was just as good
"All right there, Master B?"
"Hungry. I should've eaten"

This kid rocks every scene he's in.
You said it
Damn that kid intimidated those board members, no wonder he will become batman.
he may not be able to intimidate others physically especially against superman, but his strategy always wins
Lmfao are you 15 years old? This kid is pathetic : )
Boston Black I’ll humor you but I assume you’re implying you’re more impressive than him? Not even as a character but as an actor? Please do tell us of your exploits
Alfred's actor here is the BEST EVER!!! That attitude, that accent, that voice!! OMG!!
His father was a brilliant actor as well. Thank God Sean is so like his father, its uncanny
@@jpcoll2011 in a perfect world I see the much, and wrongly maligned thirteenth doctor who becoming the fourteenth and that doctor being the brilliant Sean Pertwee 👏. Imagine the fourteenth being the son of the actor who played the third doctor!
Well, his father was a scarecrow.
@@stephenle-surf9893 Yes ive been hoping for this as well. and beign a doctor with a hard uncompromising edge like this character
Probably because he isEnglish, and didn't grow up in Peadowood!
I love how defined Bruce is, even at his young age. Some of those employees forgot that they were talking to the top member of their food chain. He stood his ground, didn't let them see what he looked like on the outside. He was two steps ahead of them, and took one step to threaten them and the organization watching through the eyes. And Alfred... One of the best characters in this entire series.
Spoilt brat: laughs
ALFRED: "Did your parents ever teach you manners, boi?"
XD Alfred could also be like: “You got no bloody home training!!”
XD
@@natwalsh2710 never be mannerless in front of an Englishman
Try laughing with Miranda Priestly in the room.
Lol
Kratos: "BOY! Mind your manners!"
:P
I can't wait when they fast forward to an 18 year-old Bruce, and he fires every single one of them
That will be a couple of seasons away.
Assuming the series lasts that long
arbknight12 man, I hope that will happen.
arbknight12 I think they will do a time skip by a year. The actor will become 17 in Season 4, which is near 18.
you can't fire board of directors. However, the board can fire the CEO, Bruce
Every time I see him he looks more like an adult
Yep and he is looking more and more like Batman. :P
I agree!
you ever go back and hear his voice in the 1st season in comparison? shocking
And his acting has gotten better too. Perhaps because Bruce Wayne is becoming more serious.
I think his best acting of the entire series was the scene where a captive Bruce told Silver he didn't love her. Also the scene with Matches Malone that doesn't get near enough praise. For a child actor, he actually shows a lot of subtlety and nuance in his acting. I can't wait until the show makes him the star, which I expect will happen in the next couple of seasons.
'I believe you sir, are an idiot'. Alfred gets me every time with this line. Lmao lol
In every iteration, in every timeline, Alfred ALWAYS has Bruce’s back, gotta love his character man, literally the best father figure Bruce could’ve ever asked for 🥹
I find this very funny knowing in a alternative timeline Alfred killed bruce and his parents for his older brother Thomas jr
I always love the Bruce Wayne bits in all Batman media. Especially here, you rarely see Bruce exercise his authority over his billion-dollar empire. But when you do, characters take spotlight like Alfred here and the young Bruce.
Same! ^.^
Sean Pertwee plays Alfred. His father played the third doctor, his uncle played the warden in Dad’s Army.
He’s from that excellent crowd of little known actors who consistently do excellent work. One of the ‘oh them!’ Faces.
Wonder if Bruce will buy him Bettsy?? ( Sp??)
Loved the 3rd Dr, he was the most physical of the Dr.s 👍
He was also in a great movie called Dog Soldiers
@@georgew3270 Sean very very rarely fails to deliver in any of his roles
I have always loved the way Mr. Alfred always had Bruce's back no matter what..
Mr. Alfred was the one of the core reason he could survive and become the Knight of the Gotham City..
That's a loyal man right there. A true man of honour indeed.
Kid's playing mind games. Neat. But his gambit is rather transparent. It's like the teacher who says she knows who stole the cookie, but is only laying on the guilt to see if someone steps forward. So that plan won't work.
But Bruce knows that won't work. He's just trying to read their faces to find someone who knows something about someone. Mind you, that one woman we know is involved in Indian Hill kept her cool, but at least two people looked like they were starting to crack.
You get them nervous, you rattle their confidence, they start to panic - if only in small ways. Once that happens they start to stop concentrating on the grander scheme of things and ultimately become careless. The faster they become careless the sooner they'll slip up, the sooner they'll be exposed. Bruce started the waves here.
The thing is, Bruce threatened to leak the information. They can't risk him bluffing because if he was bluffing and he never went to the news media, he'd continue digging. If they called his bluff and he doesn't leak the information, and then they kill him, it looks suspicious. Because it proves someone has something to hide, even if Bruce didn't have concrete evidence. And Bruce, if kept alive, would continue to dig until he found something.
He knows that will work and it did that is the point of the meeting
@@iRazenrak seems he didn't watch or pay attention to the clip.
@@SynnJynn I’m pretty sure he’s not realizing this is Bruce Wayne and not some other rich kid. Bruce Wayne was handing L’s to everyone even as a kid

@ita Benjamin aye but "Spoilers"
Crowley sacrificed himself for da boys
I thought of Good Omens Crowley too lol.
Bad demon.
Crowley and Thomas Wayne
Gotta love Alfred and i cant wait until Monday
I love the tease to The Court of Owls. Great to see Bruce Wayne taking the charge finally.
Bruce Wayne... Handling shit like the boss he is.

He tried to carry bruce because of his adolescence, However, My man alfred peeped and acted accordingly to the situation to let bruce know 'This is YOURS, Don't let nobody treat you or tell you as such' in this situation and tbh, This is my first time actually seeing one scene from this show. Its dope and tells how much depth this version of alfred has as a character. Dope!
Selina taught him to be strong physically and emotionally. Alfred taught him to be wise and to use his intellect as a strength. And it was the fear of death and the fact that Gotham was rotting under a tide of crime and corruption both before and after his parents deaths that he was taught to be someone else, something else. He becomes vengeance, he becomes the night.
this is why we love batman, when a story is done right its just so perfect, gotham is the first real show that gets a good story set. i really hope when the time comes they can bring the actor for bruce back and they make a batman show following this one up!
This kid actor is amazing. One of the best Bruce Wayne depiction... And this is the 1st clip i watched.
Royane E Khalil Agreed!
I think the main strength of the show is how Bruce is developed very early as a heroic, imposing figure without going 'Wesley Crusher' ish. He does some amazing and heroic things but is very much fallible and inexperienced. And the adults around them are not foppish and incompetent. At least not unrealistically anyways.
Alfred is like a father to Bruce, and NOBODY is going to disrespect his SON.
What
Well said...donnie
so no one is going to ask why fox network could not spell enterprises?
It's the FOX network. Self-explanatory.
thomas sumrall fox? This is WB
oh shit lol I just noticed that lmao
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA XD
@Alex Flores The video title. After 4 years, it's still misspelled.
"They're here in this room"
Everyone: looks at one guy that laughed
I would love for him to portray Bruce Wayne again once he’s older, kid was amazing as Bruce, wish Gotham could of went on longer
Oh snap things just got serious lol Alfred wasn't having it. lol
Bruce is such a good boy 😇
This show was so good in the beginning. This scene is so powerful because these old crooks think they can outsmart a kid because of age, but he's smart af.
I like his vibes, even as a kid. He sound like a boss
Gotham: picks one of the best batman actors to play batman, and he's not gonna play batman
Smallville: picks one of the best superman actors to play superman, and he's not playing superman
The fuck D.C.?
Agreed with Batman. Disagree with Superman. Dean Cain is still the best Superman/Clark Kent.
Disagree with batman
Xander M Tom Welling is the closest to Christopher Reeve and was supposed to inherit the role from him. He was even supposed to do a Superman movie around the time he fpund the fortress of solitude in Smallville but sonce he would have fully been Superman in the movie and he was far away from.that in the show, they decided to puck Brandon Touth instead.
No they weren't. Tom just didn't want to do it. It was always just a job to him and he never wanted to be Superman.
BTW it is Brandon Routh.
not one of the best batman actors at all.
Can I just say that Bruce is such a badass kid.
This boy is such a well spoken individual, I can tell his parents raised him well.
I can't wait!! Wow he's growing up so fast
Man this Bruce Wayne guy He's a hero
Always a pleasure to have our board of directors pay us a little visit.
not if you want to get back to the formula
Batman’s first ever “Now talk” just without breaking bones
My nigga bruce XD
If only theres more if this series, its not enough for me, i really need more of Gotham
The butler's voice and attitude... awesome... well suited... loved it...
I'm already starting to love these kid
1:11 CROWLEY JUST GOT EXPOSED! LOL

sorry, but whenever I hear the name Crowley I think of Crowley from Supernatural the King of Hell.
Whenever I hear it, I think Mr. Crowley by Ozzy Osborne
@@MrbigZAq Both very evil
The CEO is really cleaning things up even as a kid.
This is how you show dominance within a company.

Sean Pertwee is a criminally underrated Alfred. I personally think he ties for my favorite with Michael Caine.
If that's really how the life of young Bruce went...no doubt how he handle all meta humans and gods himself...this explains why he was so persuasive in his talks.
Great young Bruce and under rated Alfred. Really polite and straight forward.
This kid has poise. He's going to go far. Now I feel the need to watch this show.
love the bad ass Alfred!
This scene and the auction scene are both brilliant
in which season?
One of my favorite portrayal of Alfred ❤️
Such a young man with a big responsibility !
Good job Master Bruce...he confronted people three and four times his age. I do think he may have made enemies in the process.
Alfred in this series acts more like enforcers sometimes haha. Really like this version.
Alfred “You insult my boy then you’ll deal with me” Pennyworth
That clapback moment makes me remember the "Major Lennox answered with this life" scene in Sharpe.
ah a man of culture I see
The guy who played young Bruce also played with Kiefer Sutherland in a show called “Touch”
It is absolutely to watch 😊
I've never heard of this TV show until today. Could you believe that?
good, it's hot garbage with cringe acting
Not really this is an amazing origin story for Bruce and Gordon and the villans are awesome and the show is just plain badass and this is the best alfred ever sure some episodes and seasons better than others but it's still great with its characters and their stories
I'm always convinced the Cockney Alfreds were either ex Cons or ex Special Forces because the tone and look Alfred used says to me he knows seventeen different ways to kill a man with just a tea spoon..
Alfred is generally ex S.A.S
This kid looks rich! He should become a superhero when he grows up.
Alfred is that kind of butler when he gives you chocolate shake instead of coffee which you asked...you dont complain.... You appreciate and give him a raise..
Young Bruce hasn't learnt to drive yet but his saying "My company...." makes me wonder what I'm doing with my life
I miss those days I wish I could go back then in time and relive all these years again having my present consciousness 🤞🔙⏳
Alfred is so fucking awesome
Can you imagine if Gotham and Smallville coexisted in a shared universe on The WB Network back in the 2000s? That would've been epic. Warner Bros. was stupid for not allowing that when they had the chance.
They left out the funniest part, for Pete's sake. Why did they leave out the pancakes? The best part of that scene. :-D
Ok who also expected Alfred to
Excuse me sr what is your name
That guy: (tell him his name)
Alfred: thank you sr for now on you don't belong to Wayne enterprises enamor
That guy: what?????
Alfred : you are FIRED
Didnt you get the memo?
Alfred can't do that you cannot fire board members
I don’t know the context but this is *priceless*
I'm glad that Alfred put that dude in his place. Alfred had to check him.
This Alfred had his own Batman Voice
This was an epic scene where he confronts those against him. I loved this when I saw it first time. Gotham is a fantastic series im SO sad its over
So the court of owls are like the illuminati of DC? Hmmmmmm that's savage af, wonder who talon will be
bruce wayne brother
I always thought the court of owls was the Gotham equivalent of the Hellfire Club.
As time gone on. Alfred has developed into very strong support character in the Batman series. Had to be strong smart and resourceful to carry out his duties to being primary caretaker of Bruce. and to manage his affairs.
I love this alfred he is the best
Alfred teach Bruce Wayne well and Bruce follow up as Top Dog of Company
So we’re not going to talk about how they miss spelled “enterprise”? This is the official channel right?
My thoughts exactly 😂😂😂
Never knew this show existed till a few days ago. Saw a clip with Missy and thought I missed some Doctor Who special, then when the bloody fighting took place, I was like, either I'm watching another TV show, or the Doctor regenerated and the world or myself missed it.
This series one redeeming aspect was Alfred...Less Domestic more Former SAS Badass
It was in that moment, they knew they f*cked up.
Such a boss....🔥🔥🔥
Talk about portraying a perfect, young Bruce Wayne. What an amazing young actor 👌👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Bruce was Savage even before he was Batman
Board Directors: we can see you're upset that you're parents have died, bu-
Bruce: upset? Huh. I used to get upset when my bikes chain broke. I used to get upset when I dropped my ice cream on the floor. I used to get UPSET when my parents wouldn't buy me the toy I wanted. If that's what being upset means, how should I feel now?
That was an awesome series, like superb.
Even when he was young Bruce Wayne was an OG
I love this show I finished it months ago and I’m sad I finished it but it was sooo good
this is why I like Batman more than others superheroes.
david mazou is amazing
So is David Mathews
Do you see the Bat slowing growing!!!
That’s the biggest board of directors in the history of business
Wow i haven't watched this movie it's really nice seeing young Bruce
Before becoming the Batman
It's awesome 🙂👍👍
If I was told Gotham was a prequel to the Dark Knight, I’d believe them cus this kid looks like a young version of Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne
thank god for gotham
Alfred in this is the best incarnation.
'In this room' dun dun duuuuun.
That was a hard eye roll.
