GunBlade NY (Arcade/Sega/1995) [720p]

Gunblade NY is a lightgun shoot-'em-up game developed by Sega for Sega Model 2B CRX arcade hardware. It was released in 1995. The game is set in 2005, and has the player fire at terrorists around New York from a helicopter.
GunBlade NY is another 3D rail shooter developed by Sega AM, released for their machine Sega AM2. It's much shorter than Virtua Cop series, containing only 2 stages (easy and hard) divided in much shorter areas which are over 1 minute long.

That huge "lightgun" is awesome and it vibrates like crazy!
Only game that i did well in arcade center.

Oh, I remember that heavy vibration of lightgun to this day, too. Especially my arms had strange pain after playing this...

Martinoz O Arcade cabinet got some Booming sound system,this game was like one of the loudest game at the time.
Serious bass applied to gun sound i loved it,being a 10 year old kid at the time. (played in2003)
Can no longer find this game now...

Barami Snaeha Arcade Saloons are mostly dead afaik. I haven't found any except sea or mountain holiday places.

The best way to play the arcade was to drop load of quarters in, and play on both guns at once! Had to have good enough arm span. But damn, did it make the game fun as hell!

On my version of the game, at the start of the mission 2 midtown Manhattan, the dudes that were shooting at the terrorist were the taxi drivers

Hah.. you're talking about the Wii version.. this is the real arcade with Cops shooting the terrorists.

one of the best arcade games i ever played.

so sad that the Wii's hardware is not good enough to port this game properly, despite the age the arcade version looks anazing even to this day

What about the Wii version makes you think it isn't proper? Personally, I think the texture mapping is lacking in the Wii port. Otherwise, everything else seems fine.
