How to make a boss automatically badass: make it animal-like, make it giant and make it hold a sword
How to immediately ruin it: give it a hella easy to avoid charge attack, but make the whole body a hitbox and make it last for 7 hours

I'm gonna be those annoying berserk's fan but this wyrm's head actually reminded me of apostle who bit guts' hand.
And coincidentally that sword reminds me of Dragonslayer.

Love this boss, gives both melee and magic users a good challenge. Just wish the camera didn’t give me motion sickness every time I went under him too attack.
I wouldn’t know I used both summons in the entrance + a mimic tear and then bled it to death with a blood flame grave scythe

This boss kinda moves like a monster hunter monster
Funny how the Dragons are Wyrms and the actual dragon is called a wyrm

Eh the mythological definition of dragons are kinda wacky anyways.

@@dorudon7774 how? It cant fly, doesn’t have a breath weapon and no arms or legs. It’s a reptile sure, but it is just a reptile. It’s not that vicious.

Same. I played ring around the Rosie with him while hitting him with spells. Dude could never even get an attack off.
I cheesed the second phase with Lorettas greatbow. He moves slowly and his face is open for 250 damage or more depending on your upgrades.
I always thought bosses that are giant monsters were cooler then bosses that are just the size of regular people, just more powerful (not saying none of those fights are cool). They're just a lot more intimidating, everytime I see one I think "Oh my god, how I am gonna kill that thing?" and when you do, even if the fight wasn't that hard, it still feels like an amazing acheivement because of how small you are compared to it with you still coming out on top.
Lol i just realized why i died 50 times vs this boss. I was so under level. 7 crimson tears+1 didn't help much 😅
This boss remind me of Ludwig from Bloodborne because in phase 2 that thing fighting style change is similiar

Wish we can have back cutting tail mechanic
Me too, but it seems that was lost forever since DS1 (which is a shame). DS2 kinda did it, but you wouldn’t get any weapons from cutting Mytha’s or the Guardian Dragon’s tails.
@@CJ-kb4gv Yea, it gives a satisfactory feeling when you cut monster tails. It kinda makes sense to obtain their unique weapon by removing their body part too.

okay wow literally from this comment I learned you can’t actually cut bosses tails off 😂 and here I was doing power attacks on their tails for no reason on the way to beating them 😭
Imo first phase is much harder than the 2nd phase
Just a quick question. Does this guy actually have any lore? Who were they and why are they there. The other Magma Wyrms make sense. One is in Caelid, the birth place of Dragon Communion (or at least where it is most prevelent) and the ones at Mt. Gelmir wanted to go to the Volcano Manor because it is like a safe haven for the blasphemous. But what's the deal with Makar?
Some say it is blasphemous because according to the communion seal incantation, “It’s debated where the practice of consuming dragon heart is appropriate”. Makar does have a bit of a lore. His sword states that anyone who partakes in dragon communion too much will suffer a horrible curse. Forever walking on all fours. A shadow of their former selves. You don’t even need to be human to become a magma wyrm, theodorix another magma wyrm at the secret path to the haligtree was a giant. The reason why they’re magma wyrms at mt calid is because they can become monsters.

It was way easier to fight this boss once he stopped blasting magma everywhere and just kept trying to hit me with its sword. It's swings are very predictable.

It's design looks straight out of DS1. Seeing as alot of enemies in this game are based off of Dark Souls enemies, I wonder if maybe he was an unused asset from Dark Souls

but same boss with less space in cave that bastard get me so many times
this boss was easy, i might have been overleveled tho idk. what level were u guys when u fought him
80 and all i did was throw lightning spears at him, no death win easy super fun fight tho
I was like level 40. I used a claw and shield, took me like 5 tries or so.
Level 50 he is easy unless you are too greedy
yeah i was like mid 40s i think with maxed vigor and stamina, he couldnt even break through my shield at the time lmao

Allmaster Official yeah he’s decent, roll under him and attack him from behind like 80% of the time. You can summon an NPC also

whoever reads this, do yourselves a favor: Just turn on DS3 boss music while fighting Elden Ring bosses. It makes the experience a bit better.

The singing on the way to fight the boss from the harpies is pretty good and creepy
The only move this piece of shit boss kept killing me with was the down slam attack other than that this boss is easy mode but fuck this boss all the same... He kept killing me when he shouldn't have been able to kill me I got pissed and rekt his shit with the moonveil Katana😂
There's no blood and gore... these kinda games need that

I really think this game should have much better graphics. we are talking about next gen console and years after dark soul and bloodborne. and they just stick to the same formula of leveling up and boss fights. it's pretty boring.
Yeah, leveling and killing bosses it's pretty boring. They should add some kart racing, some farming mechanics and maybe a football field so we can play football when we are not killing bosses (more variety).
And the bosses arent even that different in moves and attacks from previous souls games
