    aqautic life can continue under global ice sheets easily. as long as the core keeps releasing heat, either from radioactive decay or tidal heating. that life world around the brown dwarf could potentially keep life under the ice for a really really long time once the brown dwarf cools too much.

      No, L type stars are 50 - 70 times the mass of jupiter or for short : 50-70 mj. M types are the weakest or at least 77 mj. Mj is for mass of jupiter. So its not a star but a failed star.

      Not quite right. Like: 76 jupiter's masses is not a brown dwarf, It's L0V, and: The most weakest star, that can burn hydrogen in it's core. Is L2V star, with over ~70 Jupiter's masses.​@@vietluong8210

      Life expectancy is for main sequence stars, brown dwarfs are not massive enough to be classified as main sequence
