    I’ve spent the last 5 weeks rigorously testing this smart water filter pitcher, day in, day out, in order to learn about all the pros and cons of using such a water filter jug. This water filter pitcher can actually make tap water taste better, and therefore help you to drink more water at home.
    One of the key standout features of the LARQ Pitcher PureVis is its 2-step ‘filter’ and ‘purification’ process. This water cleaning process improves both the quality of your tap water and the taste.
    For staying hydrated while in our campervan, or working from home and for things like filling up our espresso machine with water, our pets’ drinking water, and water for cooking with - it really does make the world of difference having a water filter pitcher to supply those needs.
    Read my in-depth LARQ Pitcher blog review, to learn how the filter and purifier technology used in this water purifier & filter works, how well it performs in the day-to-day and my final thoughts on whether or not this pure water filter is worth the money.

    Mine just came. Ordered it randomly. Just googled a water filter. Loved watching this video. I’m a water addict. Drink more than I should probably. But it tastes decent. My main motivation was we just moved and I can’t get a good cup of tea from the tap. Acid test happens tomorrow morning!

    Could you give us a demo on how to use the pitcher. I got that pitcher but I am not sure how to put the filter and keep it secured. The instructions was vague at best.

      The filter should just clip in when you push it down

    Hello and thanks for the video
    I have a Larq bottle with the purevis cap. When the uvc light is on it is secured inside the bottle - because the light is actually dangerous fx to look into.
    In this video it sounds like the uvc light goes straight into the plastic chamber with the water (you showed that in the app you can make a setting where it automatically self cleanses).
    And since the plastic is transparent it sounds a little strange to me...
    The larq bottle also has a self cleanse automatic every 2 hours. And if you screw open the cap during that automatic self cleanse the uvc light turns off
    Looking forward to hear from you
    Thank you 🙏🏼😊

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  Год назад

      I think it’s only potentially dangerous if you look directly into the light so it’s totally safe unless maybe you’re holding the pitcher above your head and looking directly into the light, which you shouldn’t be doing.

    Hi, how long does the filter last you? You said you were hoping 3 months. I’m concerned that they just set a timer to alert you to swap after 2 months regardless of how much water has been filtered. If you can clarify that would be great.
    Lovely video by the way.
    Thanks

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  11 месяцев назад

      It’s hard to know for sure with filter lifespan as it depends on the original water quality and how much water you filter with it. I swap roughly every 3 months

    Would it be beneficial in any way to fill the Larq pitcher from the filtered refrigerator dispenser to add a layer of filtration? Or would I just waste my time?

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  Год назад

      Thats a good question, honestly I think you're better off just using the LARQ pitcher with water straight from the tap/faucet- but an extra level of filtration never hurt anyone :)

    Just got my Larq today but there is no inner lid cover to insert on top of the filter inside! Is that an important component? Basically without the lid cover, the water is hitting directly onto the filter which still gets the job done…

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  6 месяцев назад

      That’s weird, I’d contact LARQ support for them to send you another.

      @@trailandkale I contacted them and they say the company no longer makes these plastic filter lids, as they serve no purpose other than aesthetic reason. Guess people are concerned about environmental friendly. So the newer versions will not ship with the filter lids.

    if you already own a larq bottle, couldnt you just put any filtered water into the bottle and basically have the same effect as the pitcher?

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  2 года назад +3

      Yes if you own a larq bottle with the PureVis tech on it, then you can use a filter pitcher of your choice and then purify the water in you bottle afterwards. That will get a bit annoying over time though, and other filters pitchers may not have as good filters in them

    That was a brillant video very nice to watch and complete. Thank you... where this falls short is that we dont know how well this system reallyvworks, taste gives some indlcation...but we have to
    Really wish some independebt labs would make performances tests and analysis...and give an official rating on its⁷effectiveness
    Where some people live, the tap water is contaminated by pesticides or polluants

      Ii don't see how the water passing through a single filter can be nearly as good as a proper reverse osmosis system. I agree, and would love to see just how "clean" the water is from this pitcher. Better taste doesn't equal better quality.

    Our larq pitcher's filtering speed suddenly slowed down. We noticed the water is just dripping when it was continuously pouring before. Anyone encountered this before? We already tried reintalling the filter and other parts inside but to no avail.

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  Год назад

      That’s strange, not noticing a slow down on my unit. My guess would be your filter. What happens when you take out the filter? Does the water pass through quickly? How long have you had your filter?
