Thanks for the review! the GH1 AFlashfoam felt firm for me, like similar to Nike Phylon. Hoping that it will break-in but it didn't, especially on the forefoot because it's caged. I was thinking if it could be because I have the colorway with black foam. I don't really know. But anyway, it seems Altiflash is even firmer? I really hoped it would be softer 😓 But I really liked the Aflashfoam+++ on the KT5 Low. Have you tried that? How does it compare?
Yes, I find Alti-Flash to be a firmer set-up than A-Flashfoam. I never did end up trying out the Anta KT5 because I didn't like the way the mid-highs looked with the shroud. I did like the way the lows looked a lot, but just never ended up copping

That's an interesting way to look at it. I hadn't really thought about it that way. I think there's a couple of things factoring into my experience with, and opinion of these sneakers. Firstly, I believe my personal experience with each of these sneakers was framed by my expectations. For example, because the Li-Ning Sonic VIII Team comes at such at budget-friendly retail price, my expectations for those were really low. Conversely, after a very positive experience with the Anta GH1, I think I had set my expectations much higher for the GH2 than I did for the Sonic VIII Team. So therefore my judgement, experience and scores for each of these sneakers is based on my priors. The second factor is that my opinion is subjective, and I can only base it on my own personal experience. Ultimately, my personal experience was that the Sonic VIII Team fit my foot better & had more comfortable cushion. All I know is that I had more fun playing in the Sonics than the GH2s. You can take my personal subjective opinion with a grain of salt, that's fine, I do think it's relatively informed. Price and value for money does factor into how my expectations are formed, but a sneaker can be a great or poor performer up and down the price range for basketball sneakers.

Im a super wide footer and my prio on shoes is cushion and hard outsole for durability. Xiao basketball is also one of my only few reliable shoe reviewer, i think i found another one. Thanks
@@hoopssneakers9748 well how about the ankle mobility of the sonic 8s? Coz this gh2 ankle mobility i think is great because it is sculpted very low. I played in anta kt5 hi and the mobility was terible, unplayable.
@@SergeVanmark you will get far more mobility out of the Sonic VIII team than a KT sneaker. The difference in collar height between the Sonic VIII team and the GH2 is around 25mm/1 inch, so not much. I can't say ankle "mobility" is something i take a great deal of notice of when I'm playing, it's certainly not make or break for me. Some of my favourite sneakers are highs, some are lows

So the lining sonic 8 team (which is a budget budget shoe) is better than anta sig shoe?
