at this point, i think nintendo should just keep milking out DLC for mk8d. they already have so much content now, and whatever the next mario kart is, they’ll have to do a soft reboot, so they might as well make the extra money from more dlc

Could even have a "synched debut" in Tour like they did Wiggler. (I think we're 100% getting Diddy Kong though.) I also think GCN DK Mountain has as many, if not more chances of coming than DDJ due to having a way more recent Tour remake, plus Wii nostalgia pandering. For sure Rome Avanti, Madrid Drive, Piranha Plant Cove, and Piranha Plant Pipeline are locks for the BCP. SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 is the most likely final SNES track, Wii Rainbow Road for the longest is hinted to be the last track in the entire DLC, and the last two tracks I strongly think will be DK Mountain (There’s a ton of reasons actually why it’s more likely than Dino Dino Jungle), and Mushroom Bridge to some people’s surprise. Really both are easy to predict that they’re coming because Tour released 4 GCN tracks in one year which is unusual of them to do and all of them have BCP level quality and the prefix leak literally showed that we were getting 4 GCN tracks (which were the 4 released in the last year). Oh also, I genuinely think the theory about “light characters” holds zero weight as even now, light characters are the most populated character weight class in 8DX. Heavy is still the lowest. I doubt they’ll add another lightweight character but that’s just my opinion. Hammer Bro would be medium anyway as that’s what he is in Tour.
