Side note: the only creatures that eat batflies is : - slugcat - cicada - jetfish - strawberry lizard Cyan didnt ate any of batflies since they dont find them as appetizing as slugcats for example
i've never noticed how cyan lizards wiggle their tails before they jump, it's so cute! i've always been too preoccupied with trying not to get killed. thys cyan would make the cutest family pet
I think the lizard just reacts to the sound that batflyes make, when they are touching the ground in attempts to nibble the plant. Its the same reaction as when you are hitting walls with a rock in arena mode using your mouse in front of a lizard.
This is, and will always be, one of my favorite videos of yours. Having just rewatched it(again) I’m reminded of a quote from an article titled “The Blue” by Anne-Marie Oomen, the quote is this: “I’m a fool for loss, but there’s also beauty: sky on a partly sunny morning, light warming the winter garden, the ecology of being human with mouse, squirrel, sweater and winter.”
tested this out in sandbox and approx. the same amount of batflies and a batfly plant thing, this cyan was still okay ! it's just when i added more batflies was there too much overwhelming noise for the lizart . i also tested with a few other lizards and most were pretty chill too, so it might just be the amount of batflies making noise
Not controlling the lizard yet, that crosshair is to chose the target of controlling, I believe you get a dot above the creatures head if you control them
@@UrticantOdin nonetheless, how are you doing that? Still doing my first campaign playthrough as survivor, so, I'm inexperienced on everything else beyond that.
These growls are a lot closer to taming sounds rather than frustration ones, which would be a lot louder. I think this guy might’ve channeled his inner green lizard and set up his territory right where the slugcat food was.
@@Thingamagic-z6c the taming sounds not only do not exude this many particles, but are also a very loud, distinct noise, in fact, frustration growls do not make any sound to my knowledge, like we see in the video. monster kelp, pole plants and leeches too.
Technically leviathans could eat them as well and im pretty sure stowaway eat them as well tho not entirely sure.
I’ve seen Red lizards sometimes snap at them when they’re just chilling in a room.
@@BatFlightThylacine I think that's just because red lizards want to kill everything they see

I hope someone draws our cyan boy with it's batfly buddy

I fricking loved watching the cyan lizard drop and forget about its food twice.
“You’re my friend now. We’re having soft tacos later!”
But omg that’s my boy! That’s my little sky blue bouncy boy!!

How do you transfer the creatures to different arenas/maps?
One of the mods at the end allows you to see creature ID. You can spawn in creatures with specific IDs.
