  • Affordable liveaboard sailboat tour. On request - here is the boat tour of my Comfort 32! I also tell about the 11 pros and 11 cons I find with this boat as a long-term sail boat. A saling yacht inside! This is beyond the basic critera I had for the boat and more of a live aboard view, a sailing yacht interior. My criteras you can find in Ep. 4 and as you will se sailing Comfort 32 has many advantages!
    Me? A RUclipsr sailing Sweden in a Comfort 32. Leaving home port I started my sailing RUclips channel 2021. Join me and my small budget sailboat with a big passionate dream to sail away, enjoy every moment and share it with others.

      Haha, I would care for a real wardrobe or regular cockpit storage, but every boat is a compromise!

    Every Boat is a Comprimise. But it´s like when going above 32 feet.. and still need performance... the prices go way up like 3-4 times.. so i can see why you setteled with that size.. :)

    Inspirerande att se hur du löser det på din båt. Ska bli intressant hur du löser förvaring i förpiken för jag tycker att det är svårt där (behöver också en bättre lösning).

    Great tour! Love the teak, Tilda obviously been well cared for. Do you have much space in the bilge for storage?

    • @sailingtilda
      @sailingtilda  3 года назад +1

      I do have that, but only one of three lockers makes it easy accessible and it is mostly kept for beers and other drinks to stay a bit cool since the fridge is small!

    Nice boat. Wishing you great adventures with it. Questions: Who is the "we" that you refer to?

    • @sailingtilda
      @sailingtilda  3 года назад +2

      Thanks! I think is has to do mostly with my was of speaking, like "we have nice weather today" instead of "I have", but then also because I like to have people around so then it's "we".. and the crew that you'll meet next week has helped to prepare a bit so in some ways that is what is refered to as "we have put the dinghy.."😄

    Thanks for video.
    If not secret - why you decide bought COMFORT32, but not COMFORTINA32 or ALBIN NOVA or some other boat?
    I was own COMFORT32 - only two think I like from this boat - great size cockpit and great size aft cabin beds. Rest is small inside, sleeping banks is front cabin is to short, sleeping banks in main salon is to narrow, toilet pot located under cockpit, also boat is to heavy.
    I change to Birdie32 Lux.
    Big difference, much faster during sailing, good lenght and wide sleeping banks, good roofheigjt, Im 1.84cm, I stand without any neck bending, have separate front cabin, two big storage lockers in cockpit, cockpit good size, same as on Comfort 32.

      Have a look at the vid where i tell about my boat choice criteria! But short answer is that this boat is a very good compromise of living comfort and boat quality for sailing on bigger waters (still at budget boat) Comfortina, yes, is a bit better inside, but you get a fractional rig and a keelstepped mast, I would not want that for a longterm sailbaot. Albin does not seem to have the same wooden interior quality for example, also, a lighter boat is no advantage on the big seas and you need to be able to load quite some without doubblethe weight =) Many boat in similar size I dont get good guest cabin for pepole who don't know each othe (might not want to share a double bed, or like the birdie, almost squeeze in to a one person bed)

      @@sailingtilda Thanks for your replay and explenation.
      I look for future to buy SCANMAR33 - I like this boat and she is quite fast sailor for open waters too.

    • @sailingtilda
      @sailingtilda  2 года назад +1

      Oh, you try a lot of boats in the same size! If I change boat it will be something around 35-40 ft to make a difference, otherwise I am very happy with this boat and I considered most boats on the market. Forgus have some construction benefits, also the Beason 31, but both can look very different inside with most of them not having a layout that appeals to me. watch out for the keel with the scanmar, common problem of those. Sorry you did not like the C32, but you know it actually performed well on racing when it came in the 80's (about same age for all of those boats you are talking about) so it is hard to say it is a bad sailor, however, you can find faster boats, but it is all about compromises no matter how but or expensive boat you but the c32 think a lot of boxes, then if course not all

    • @sailingtilda
      @sailingtilda  2 года назад

      @@janisspalvins677 but I do agree the scanmar has a nice layout, and if the would have been a good one out for sale during those 4 mounths I searched for a boat it might have been an option, but again wrong type of rig to me.

      I prefere better 7/8 rig. I like speed on boat.
      Also I like Maxi Mixer and Maxi 999.
      For good leaving and long distance sailung - Maxi 108 (top rig boat), also Comfort34.
      But Im scared for operate bigger them 33' alone.
      Nowdays is lot of modernboats 31 - 32', but inside is like 36' from 1980.
      And new boats is with wide stern.
