    I really like how you describe the "perfect" boat for yourself. A very good and understandable list of must haves. Thank you for sharing.

    Funny that I disagree with almost all of your choices, but I appreciate that you gave a lot of thought to what is right for you. I will enjoy following your adventures. Fair winds to you.

      Well, many things matters, like what you want to use a boat for and how to use it and also what you think more or less of when it comes to safety, comfort and performance.

    You have described the boat I would want, a good compromise between size, space, and accessibility to the engine. The longer the boat the more expensive in a marina. I shall enjoy the boat tour when it is uploaded.

      Hi, it depends a litte of what is qualified as sailing, my first years if sailing a was on big charter boats, but did not really know that much about it...I decided to learning more and have raced four years now and one oceancrossing.

    Just started following... I´m intrested in why you prefer Deck Stepped mast ?

    • @sailingtilda
      @sailingtilda  2 года назад

      The first thing it aviods leaking, but also in case if a break I would like the mast to be able to leave the boat easily, instead oh hanging on and crashing into the hull

    Nice vid
    I look at "sailboat Data" a lot
    I have a Morgan Out Island 33
    Its 1 foot longer than your boat
    It weigh one and a half what your boat weight
    If you're wondering how half your boat weight was stuffed into 1 extra foot of my boat, my boat was made to be "a rental". Meaning, my boat was made for folks who don't own it to run it aground and bump into stuff, and the boat still drive home unscathed and ready for the next renter
    Buy a "camplux shower water heater" for about $100

    Hej , hittade din kanal igår då jag sökte på Comfort 32, och har tittat igenom en del avsnitt, tror verkligen att du valt rätt båt . Idag seglar jag en Winga 29 som jag ägt i några år , men skulle jag byta upp mig ( som man ofta drömmer om ) så är Comfort 32/Comfortina32 ett intressant alternativ. Lycka till

      Hej! Tack, jag det är väldigt många fördelar med båten och den uppfyllde många av de krav och önskemål jag hade! Självklart är det alltid roligt att kika på nya båtar oavsett vad man har!

    Respectfully I would suggest a voyage that no vlogs are undertaking, starting in Rotterdam, heading down the rivers to the Black Sea through Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. Your deck stepped mast makes this possible.

    • @sailingtilda
      @sailingtilda  2 года назад +1

      Hi! It for sure depends a lot if something breaks or any big upgrades will be done on the boat, but otherwise I hope to get by with 1000 -1200 euro/usd a mounth

    What kind of boat is Tilda?

  • @SailingOTR
    @SailingOTR 3 года назад

    All boats are compromises. There are no perfect boats. Gain experience with what you have right now. Once you are living aboard and cruising full time you will find 10% ~ 80% of what you wanted or assumed desirable is wrong or you would wish various things about the boat were in some way different from the way you thought they should be. After three years aboard your evaluations will change again and every three years after that. That is often why living and cruising full time sometimes seems like a full time job of boat modifications and adaptations. Good luck with your choices and the life you have chosen.

      True, I learned some things I found important on my Atlantic cruise, but will likely found out more as time passes!
