This game is a remake of Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss for the Famicom. It contains two games, an enhanced remake of Tetris and a new puzzle game called Bombliss.
Bombliss is a variant of Tetris that features a new type of block, bomb blocks, which destroy surrounding blocks when a line is completed. It is also known as Tetris Blast outside of Japan.
The author, Ryuto ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/R... ), plays through Bombliss, building big bombs to clear the whole screen at once, sometimes in chain reactions.

I can just FEEL how addicting this game is just by watching it. I know I'd never be able to do any of this in real time but it'd still be exciting just trying to come up with all kinds of different ways to solve these puzzles.
Also, big ups for including Suisei because Tetris. Wonder if she's played this version.

I'm a Puyo Puyo player. Why was I recommended this after watching a PP Tetris 2 video? Wrong side of the coin, RUclips! ^^;
It's hard for me to hear the "level" music and not immediately think of Megalovania. ^^

I'm trying to figure out the rules for the bombs here.
I should probably look for a rule book and not a TAS to learn the rules of a game.

The small bombs go 1 vertical and seven horizontal and per line go +1 horizontal until +5 when they get bigger in all dimenisions, the big ones are always ten tall, ten wide
