congrats - agreed it is out of this world sensational 100% inspired - Trey's own sobriety certainly contributed to this historicaly unique jam I have no question about it - I was sober 2019 - 2021, so I know where you're coming from.
Damn. 4.0 kicks ass and I don't care what anyone says about it!! Pushing the boundaries of who they are as a band, really starting to transform their identify without losing touch with who they once were (if that makes sense)...35 years later. The sounds are unique and distinctive to 2022. I absolutely love it and grateful to be around for it.
I don’t really see the boundaries pushed so much as they use what they have that’s what they are and have always been. Theys out there, it’s all part and parcel. Now the toys and tones at they’re disposal
This may have been one of the most intensely sublime moments I’ve ever witnessed at a Phish show over 30 yrs, just a totally unexpected bath of sound hitting me full steam, with the wind off the ocean and the birds and lights. I was pretty sober, no more than a few pulls on a pre-roll, but it still took me for a serious ride. You can get some of the vibe through the video but holy shit it was intense if you were there. Chills.
Leaves has always been an underrated jam base in my opinion. Glad to see phish finally realize this. Hope this opens up the can of worms on some great Leaves jams.

It's the Beatles sound combining with Phish. Very underrated song and I love to see less played songs get a jam treatment. So silky smooth with the Bug like solo. I see this song evolving like Sigma Oasis has recently. Just incredible space and ambient groove from like 11 mins on especially. Love this kind of jam.
Knew of them since they started but really never paid much attention and I'm just getting into them now. Better late than never I guess. Course I'll need to go back to get some perspective of where they were. Anyway this is a great jam.

Leaves this is the best version ever just like the Lonely Trip from Hershey night 2 2021 They are really making these mostly ballads on the Studio Album Sigma Oasis into greatness I even loved Shade at Blossom yesterday and i do not really like that song but Trey is really being honest and starting to feel these songs deeply in his spirit and soul and it is showing in the music the licks the inflections of his voice he is starting to actually miss us and realizing that he (and they and the fab 4) never needed us the fans as much as now after covid and drug addiction and now he is starting to realize that there is MORE to life than just music and drugs and drug music but actually there is a a Jesus who just left Jerusalem and the mount of Olives 2000 years ago and is coming soon in the clouds to rapture those that believe crazy shit like that and do not believe the American lies that say a woman's choice is to be a murderer of half her DNA and half of the dumb ass boy she slept with and did not wear a condom or he did not pull out like a responsible man or worse he wants kids to be forced on the state knowing he will soon abandon her forcing her to either adopt her child at 15 or worse she was raped or worse they are both 15 idiots and sex ed is a joke and only parents should have fucking children not children having more children it is no wonder they erase their sin and say i cant afford a kid it is too much responsibility and it is far too convenient in America to kill our kids and call it a mother's right to murder what a crock of shit. . .what it really is is the LOVE OF MONEY and CONVENIENCE above the love of enemies and love of God because no one loves their enemies except Jesus who just left the Mount of Olives for your dumb ass reading this so remember when you judge others who gave up their kids that you killed yours and if you didn't then God bless you too because we all sin and fall short of Jesus Glory and that is why we need a Savior and to be saved in the first fucking place because none of us are good and yet everywhere I go in America everyone thinks they are a good person that shit is called PRIDE and truth lies in Romans 1:1 ALL are evil none are good the heart is false and lies so do not trust your heart trust in the spirit that can give u a new heart and change you into a new creation otherwise you are fucked like people that believe in 3 genders and gay marriage and Transgender is a real thing not a mental disorder which is what it really is . . .it is just another drug addiction to self The new drug is Vanity and self awareness and perception what a crock of shit we are now 3 genders and gay marriage is marriage when Jesus made male and female and a man will leave his family and become one with a girl and shall not be attached to his mom like a mom mas boy but will be joined forever in Marriage it was made not by rainbows or pride month but the maker of your DNA you fools

@@hippogator I love Phish nerds saw my first show 8/92 Pueblo Co they opened for Carlos and 30 years later going to a couple of shows at Dicks. A little to hectic for me but come on man 30 years and still finding a reason to listen. Quick shout out to King Gizzard and Lizard Wizard my favorite younger band. And STS9 the smoked last week at Red Rocks!
This was my first Phish show in sobriety. This jam was incredible and made me very emotional. Beautiful.

The crowd was awesome at this place both nights. I’m definitely hoping to go and see them again next year if they play in the same venue.
