My Great Uncle Ray served in Bastogne at the age of 16. When he was 14.5, he ran away from home, forged an ID, and tricked a recruiter into thinking he was 17 just so he could enlist. He ended serving with the 101st Airborne. My dad says he was a very quiet, odd man. I think I would be too if I had to live through literal nightmares...
I'm from Belgium. Every year on the 11th of November me and my girlfriend lay flowers on a soldiers grave. Mostly a random soldier which wasn't Belgian, french or dutch. Because we still want to give the soldier a peace of family they had to leave. If your grandfather has ever spoken about a fallen soldier and you know where they might be burried... Contact me
I remember watching Band of Brothers, and this battle. I was on the verge of tears the whole time. And I cried as I watched the last episode. Truly an amazing ending to such a legendary mini-series.
As a big history nerd/buff and lover of WW2/Vietnam history, and as a dude who loves asmr, this is like an early Christmas present for me! Not only does it combine 2 things that I love, but it’s done very well and I’m only 3 minutes in. 10/10 very well done keep it up man great work!
*My grandfather fought at The Battle of the Bulge.* He said he survived off of frozen beats and potatoes dug up from a farmers land nearby his unit's foxholes. His favorite 2 veggies up until the day he passed 5 years ago (95 years old).
Lmao I caught that to. TBH soldiers back then where known to have not been trained in trigger discipline either so I guess it isn't the most historically inaccurate for him to do that.
Wow, Cap! You should be really proud of this. It was beautiful, and moving. You tell the narrative of this era with a lot of authenticity. Really superb!
This summer i was at where the Easy company Foxholes are in the Ardennes forrests (where the battle of the bulge was fought) and it was so eerie knowing the struggles and the horrors that have taken place there. I'm forever grateful for their courage and the rest of the allied troops' courage! Also awesome video, great job with the props and the uniform!
I’m sorry but WOT?!? This is insanely good Cap, like wow - I feel so privileged we get to see your film making techniques mixed in perfectly with the most unique ASMR I’ve seen in a while. Can’t wait for the next instalment 💯
this chanel is quickly becoming one of my favourites in asmr, if you did a gerralt of rivia (the witcher) role-play I think I would die, you would rock the white hair, keep up the amazing content
I have been an ASMR addict for several years, and i must say...you are the master of the art. Your Joker was awesome and better than the movies. You must be an actor because you are such a professional. Have a great Holiday, and thanks for what you do for us!
I only wish it lasted longer. Say 2 hours longer haha 🙈 The quality of this is just insane!!! There's something untouchably special and beautiful about those vintage army uniforms.. you really brought it to life dude 🙌
Finally I could sit down and watch the entire thing 🙌🏻 I attempted like 4 times. I don’t like the Christmas Week really, so hectic... Every minute you spent on this video should be appreciated..! And the footage during the intro puts you in the correct tone... I imagined soldiers waiting in trenches must have had similar conversations... They had to comfort each other this way. Your passion for the subject comes through!
This was awesome! My grandfather fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He got pneumonia while fighting. I loved the attention to detail that soliders in the battle were under supplied and soo cold. I liked the loading of the charger clips and the M1. Didn't think I'd ever see an ASMR RP with a Real weapon in it. Kudos to you! Can't wait to see more of this series😁👍

Damn man you got an M1, plus like how accurate the uniform is, especially with his you have an M1 Paratrooper helmet and the wood overcoat, mainly the airborne used the overcoat during the battle of the bulge, plus you got the airborne gloves, and even a brown wool scarf
This is very creative bailey! And a great way to teach or represent a piece of history. And you made some nice sounds! Love the snowy effect. Very cool. Great props too, as per usual. 😁💙
BRO😍😍What a vid! Very accurate, that silky smooth voice, loved it! The background wind sounded very Chernarus lol! Really enjoyed this one, you absolute legend
History meets ASMR 😍 my grandfather was in Belgium during the war. He said they would have to dig holes to sleep in and they would wake up in the morning covered in snow.
I love this always loved learning about war and such but this takes it to a whole new level and is just the uniform is so good keep up the great work and I hope to see more of these
I kind of thought I'm not going to enjoy this one that much because war kind of scares me lol but it was very relaxing and I enjoyed it very much! I'm looking forward to this series 😊 great job, Cap!

Ephemeral rift also does a great job with his characters and his own story universe that he created with asmr. It’s pretty cool stuff.
