Just binge watched this start from scratch series over the past couple days and was really enjoying it, but I don’t see any more after this one. Was the store not doing what you hoped? Or just lost interest in it? Either way, really appreciate all the great info and time you put into doing this!
I remember those footrot flats cartoons use to be in the courier mail or sunday news paper if i remember. I use to read them when eating brekkie good memories.
If you're telling people the name of this new shop, on a youtube channel with plenty of traffic... what does this challenge prove? Genuine question, not trying to call out. It can't prove 'anyone can do it' as your traffic from here is not normal, your built-up experience makes you more knowledgeable and contacts make inventory easier to get. Courtney's attempt also shared her shop name and you helped her buy stuff. I'd like to see this done with opening an account you don't share, and have it run by someone else who's completely 'on their own' with regard to buying. I just don't see the teaching value here?
The fundamentals of the challenge are concrete. The basics of selling on eBay are displayed and explained. Finding reason to down play any progress in this series is a limitation on your own beliefs about selling on eBay. These videos receive 3-5k views. My 2nd store impression count sits at 1 million over the last 28 days. To say I am at an advantage by communicating to 3-5k people when comparing to the thousands of people viewing my listings via organic / promoted listings is hard for me to rationalise. Yet the information provided is hopefully helping thousands of people fast track success on the platform with good practises and habits shown throughout the educational series.
Make sure you can keep an eye out for fat ps3 with four usb ports on the front they are extremely rare and can be found pre easily recent flip was bought one for $40 and sold for $750
I've spent the last few months doing a lot of research, and living in the US have been stockpiling XBOX One, PS4 and PS5, and Nintendo Switch gear mostly for my return to Australia in July. I focused on region free gear so it had compatibility down under. I know some of the others can be bypassed (GameCube, Wii, etc) but don't want to bother with that. Other than videos on your sales and shopping, I'd like to see some videos on helpful things like regionalization, what shoe sizes and clothes sizes are the biggest sellers, which would all help in the seller refinement process. Love the channel, keep up the great work!
I’m a little behind in watching your videos as I’ve been quite sick. Catching up now. I finally have one item listed on eBay. I decided to not open a business account for now and see how things go. I have lots more to list including the Kyries and once I have more listed I’ll book that phone call with you. That was a fantastic buy from Scotty I expected him to ask at least twice as much. There is a lot involved with you testing and sorting so I guess you have to factor in that cost of your time.
Watching your videos is telling me I need to get out of reselling clothes (mostly shirts) - with clothes everything from comps, preparing to list, photographing, listing is a lot more difficult. Plus they are long taiIed and profit per item is lower. In contrast I sold one of my kids’ video games (they hate it but others love it and it has high sell through) and it was three minutes to take and edit pictures, 2 minutes to complete, and one day to sell. Shoes seem more profitable but I know nothing about them in terms of desirability, cost, resale, etc and cleaning shoes up is not something I’d want to do!
When you ship multiple sales to one buyer do you just add the same tracking number into both listings? Does the buyer ever get angry for paying for 2 shippings but receiving one box?
Hey Matt, about the Footrot bunde, how about having a title like 'Footrot Flats 1+2+3+4+5+6+8+9+10 Book Bundle Paperback Murray Bell'? This way you catch more people searching for a specific book. Do people really search for '1-6' or '8-10'? Even if they do, in your title they would get extra books they may not want, because there search already was very specific?
It just comes down to how many characters you’ve got left. Doing it 1+2 etc takes up a lot of useful characters for other key terms. For me it’s about front end the book title which will attract the right audience to the listing
Be on the lookout for all the Footrot Flats special editions too... various hardcovers and large paperbacks. Those go for some good dollars. There are even miniature sized versions. Oh, and it's pronounced 'foot rot', meaning sheeps' feet can 'rot' in wet pastures.
What happened to this series? It inspired me to begin my own Ebay journey and has now stopped dead in its tracks, making me nervous for my own journey as it seems you've given up!
Mic is better on your cap or collar, you look like you're holding it with discomfort as you keep swapping hands constantly - maybe a mic stand in the garage

I do free shipping so it never gets questioned.. or I amend the invoice prior to them paying reducing the overall spend if they ask for it

Plural of sheep, is sheep 😮
@@billwob6631 The possessive form of multiple sheep is SHEEPS'.... as in sheeps' wool or sheeps' feet.... note the apostrophe, m'kay?
Ps3 why aren’t you bundling the games with the consoles?
Just decided not too
Allways look forward to your videos
