Thanks friend! The enthusiasm that shines through your tutorials is fantastic. Thank you for giving light to useful and very well designed tools and scripts. Finally.... 1000 thanks to MPL for his genius. 🎼🎶👍🏼
Hey man, great tutorial - I learned a lot! One thing though: Choke groups don't seem to work, no matter what I do. You did not show choke groups in action in the video. Is there a special trick I'm missing? Thanks in advance!
Ahh okay! So it’s probably not me 😁. Let’s see if we find something out… choke groups are pretty essential not only for advanced sampling but even for basic stuff like hi hats. I really hope this gets solved. I think I’ll try to hit up mpl in the forum. Thank you for your quick response!
Thanks for the nice explanation! I have what might seem a stupid question... How do I connect this with a midi keyboard? Everything seems to be working fine except that I cannot send any signal from my midi keyboard to these tracks thus actually recording midi...Can anyone help?
This is a lovely script but I've had some serious problems with using it in the past. On my laptop, I usually used to set my buffer to either 256 or 512 when making a beat using my midi keyboard. However, after I'm done making the beat and it's time to mix, I max out the buffers again and this time, the script starts to playback my samples out of time. It just goes completely off. Once i return it back to the previous buffer settings, everything plays normally again. So I stopped using it all together.
So far I haven't had that issue ... Not sure why it would play off... You should try creating audio files so it doesn't use so much processing if that happens a lot...😀🙏🏾
it's a lot like ableton's drum rack, but the database feature is a plus, it's very easy, the word just confuses people. it's pretty straightforward, no trademark nomenclature is used
I have Battery 4 and watched this to see if there was anything I was missing. The random sample "make a new kit" feature is too much fun. And is any Reaper user gonna complain if someone takes a feature (like the sampler) and gives it a makeover? I'm surprised that this script only allows 4 databases but something tells me we could open the script and find the place that says 4 databases and add to it.
If you know how to write scripts I don't see the issue with tweaking the script... I have battery and haven't really used it yet... 😞 I know a lot of people that use it for sound design on there drums... But that new kit just hits different 😂... Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾
For sure dude, I don’t know much about scripts but successfully edited one first try. You’re probably right, just go in and find what you want to change!
@@learningreaper - I don't know how to write scripts but for adding more track resources slots to make lots and lots of toolbar buttons to open up track templates I was shown how to open up the script and find where the default slot number said 4 and change it to 72. So, when I was 4 databases it reminded me of those other tutorials I have watched.
This will be soon rebuilt using ReaImGui extension (anno sws and various functions dependency anymore). Hopefully it will be MUCH faster to do anything with this script.
It's a sampler so there will be similarities... It was made for people who are use to Abletons drum rack... It's a little better than sitala with the ability to make random kits with one button... Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾
Damn, this is insanely powerful.
He sits pretty dope... Can't believe I didn't find this earlier...😀🙏🏾

definitely one of the best reaper teachers. collab with kenny!!!
Appreciate it...😀🙏🏾 Maybe in the future me and Kenny will do something

I haven't tried the choke group myself 🤔 ... I just tried it and it doesn't seem to work for me either I will check it out and see what I find

Same in the Forum. People notice that choke groups are not working but so far no fix... @learningreaper
Hopefully it will be finally improved/fixed for 4.0 version

If you have a midi keyboard connected does it work with any vsts?

Yea it's a great script I really need to use it more tho...😂 Thanks for the comment...😀🙏🏾
Database is just a request to bring some functionality of Atlas sampler, based on reaper databases stock feature

That would be amazing...can't wait to try it out once it's ready... you made a great script thanks for the comment....😀🙏🏾
user interface is smoother than other similar
Yea I think he did a good job with it...😀🙏🏾
the upcoming 4.0 version will be much smoother with GPU rendered ImGui extension, hopefully you'll enjoy it
Great! Many thanks.
Thanks for watching...😀🙏🏾
Very niec, thanks for the tutorial 🙂
Thanks for watching...😀🙏🏾
it it possible to make round robins?
Yes in the RS5K it has an option to do round robin... Hope this helps...😀🙏🏾
The functionality is kinda overlapping with Sitala & MK Slicer.

Very impressive fam.
Yea it's pretty dope . I will be doing more videos show casing it soon..👀
Is the smash kit royalty free?
