If you ever need to create ISO piping drawings, this video is for you.

Today I am sharing some quick tips on how to do a simple 2D ISO pipe drawing.
First, I'll show you how to declutter your workspace and set up the drawing area, which will be our sheet.
We will do a quick ISO sketch and switch between the right, left, and top views.
Since this is a sketch, we won't worry about the scale or precise measurements. Later, we can add dimensions to specify the lengths of pipes and welds if needed.
We'll be using Mech-Q to do most of the heavy work.
    For more, see cadavenue.com/mechq.htm
We'll use the line command to create a basic outline for our schematic.
Then we'll use Mech-Q to draw our fittings, such as flanges, valves, and reducers.
Since we turned off the ribbon, we can use the command interface for faster drawing.
In this drawing exercise, we're not focusing on specific specifications or bill of materials. Like many ISO drawings, this is just a quick sketch representing weld locations.
I have other videos available if you want to learn more about those topics, including creating a weld mapping schedule.
Just ask me if you need help! I hope these tips help you become more efficient at drawing.
