Can you turn this into a private home 1-group lever machine? It fixes all the issues of a lever machine…. Or join forces with ECM and sell them you group! While they take care all the rest…
Hi! The Spirit Widebody indeed has 4 coffee boilers and 2 steamboilers, inside it are actually 2 Spirit Duettes. The Idrocompresso is only offered on the Slim Jim, it's actually quite a different machine from the inside as well, so it's not only the group that you can simply add to any of our models. If you would like some more information on the Slim Jim Idrocompresso, you can find that here: keesvanderwesten.com/slim-jim/idrocompresso/
@@KeesvdWesten ah thanks for the fast answer!, combining 2 Spirit Duettes is mind bonkers! really enjoys coffee from Spirit Triplette here in Indonesia from Fore/Otten Coffee. also will there be a 3 group slim jim Idrocompresso?
Looks like a very well engineered machine. In your specs you state one boiler per group head. Is there then an additional dedicated boiler for the steam wand? Surely not a heated changer on such an elaborate machine?
@@filmalchemistfish472 Hi! The Slim Jim is our only model which can be ordered as a lever. Please do note the lever is not a retrofittable option, as internally there are some variations.
wonderful machine. 1 small question, how the extraction can be stop at any time in a lever-machine, I thought the spring lever has to come all the way to the top to release all the pressure right
Our set-up allows the installation of a relief solenoid. When this is activated all water under the piston ( and all pressure) is released towards drain. Orifice is exact dimension to have this relief happen in a controlled way, so lever does not go back with a bang.
@@R3yne I have a feeling people got complacent and don't question how such a simple yet immense quality-of-life improvement is lacking on $4k+ machines, sometimes going through hoops and bounds to excuse it and how they "don't need it".
Lever groups are fully mechanical, nothing can be programmed. It really is the barista’s flair/experience what determines the result in the cup. The Slim Jim Idrocompresso does however provide all necessary feed-back: temp, time, pressure, speed.

the best machine I have ever worked on
I can see myself with one of these in my dream man cave at the coffee bar

Hi charles, yes there's an additional large steamboiler.
Can mirage or spirit install the same new lever mechanism or it only works on slim Jim?

@@KeesvdWesten that sounds incredible but also kind of simple in a mechanism perspective , why dont other do the same heh

Would it be possible to put Idrocompresso lever onto the Spirit body ?
No, that's not possible!
@@KeesvdWesten Thanks for the reply.I was just curious cause I like spirit body design and with Idrocompresso lever it would look awesome.
Is the water pressure and time fully programmable? wet stage, pre infusion stage... Extraction time... Etc. How can I get more details.
