This was an absolute blast man! About the most fun I’ve ever had working on a car and getting to live out so many car guys childhood dreams by running from the cops in an orange ‘69 Charger! 🙌🏼 Thanks for all the help Dylan!
I can't believe this video snuck past me 3 days ago, but I found it now. You guys made my day with the PO-lice chase, Dukes Of Hazzard style. You even found the right background music. I'm 52 and that's still one of my favorite shows. Dylan and Jacob got this right. 👍 I can't wait to see what this car becomes.
The smiles on you faces reminds me of when I had a 1985 Dodge Ram short bed track/street legal truck. Had a 440 six pack making 450 HP. I took it to a tire shop early in the morning to have new tires put on it, it had rained the night before. This 20 year old-ish kid got in it to bring it in the shop, turned the key and the engine roared up and he had an instant smile. As he pulled towards the shop doors I said "aren't ya gonna light it up at least once on those old tires?" He was like seriously??? I said sure, go ahead. He did like 3 doughnuts and all I saw was teeth as he wiped by on 3 passes lol. I bet that kid will never forget that, I know I won't lol.
I can't imagine leaving that car in a field. I like how they went with the 1969 fenders and rear quarters. 69 is personally my favorite of the 3 years.
Dylan this was the best video yet. I'm 49 going to be 50 in a couple of weeks and this one brought me back in time nearly 46 years ago when I watched the Dukes of Hazzard with my mom every Friday night we both would sit on the couch and watch the show together. The music and everything brought back so many memories. I got a dvd set with all of the episodes of the dukes of hazzard that I bought 22 years ago I haven't watched it in a long time.
It is always so fascinating, that a silly 80s tv show can be such a huge impact. I grow up here in Germany with the Duke-Boys and Fall Guy, they were my absolute childhood heroes and I think thats where my obsession with cars came from. Dude, that chase part at the end? Right in the feels :D Love to see more of the General.
Would of never guessed it aired in Germany, definitely where my love started. My uncles on both mom n dad's side are car enthusiasts. One has a 450hp 68 camaro, other has a 69 corvette with 20k original miles. I never saw them as a kid though, and no one else liked cars.
Love this video, the Dukes of Hazzard was my favorite TV show, glad to see the General Lee lives agian, the Police car chase just made it perfect, great job guys.
This was amazing!! As soon as I saw the sheriff car in the garage, I thought…they HAVE to recreate a Dukes chase! I was not disappointed. Great episode!
That was awesome the cop car chasing the General Lee u just got to life every country boys dream , man I wished I was there that must have been so much fun lucky u , I really enjoyed that show , it brought me back to when I was a kid & watched the Dukes of Hazard when ever it came on cuz back in the 70's we only had 3 or 4 channels on TV, & that show made the 69 charger my favorite hot rod like I'm sure it did for thousands of young boys , & what an iconic hot rod the69 charger became cuz of that show , I would say that it's the most liked hot rod there is , there is lots of awesome hot rods but the 69 charger is the KING
Boy that was fun to watch. Even more fun in person I bet. Reminds of my 15 yo self driving a bandit trans am in and behind the impound yard when I was supposed to be washing tow trucks.
Roscoe, almost got you there at the end. This is by far the best video you have ever done. Even the music at the end was awesome keep up the great work yeeeehaw
Bo, Luke, the federal lee, what else?! Oh there is Rosco! Now I am 9 again. Thanks for bringing ne back to good old times when I just cared for next weeks general lee stuff
Those are Hasbro WWF figures from the early 1990's quite valuable in good condition in the package. The Ultimate warrior one if in the package is worth about $2000. The blue pants guy is Sting from the early/mid 90's WCW line. Cool find!
FUN FACT: Before his successful acting career, Sorell Booke, (Boss Hogg), was a graduate of borh Columbia and Yale Universities. He also served in the US Army as a counterintelligence officer. He was fuent in in French, Latin, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, German, Greek and Italian. He said that he also “fussed" with a half-dozen other languages such as Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Dutch, Persian, Polish, and Swedish. Talk about not judging a book by it's cover! 😂😂
heck yes, Dylan. What a great car to start the year.. you deserve your own Charger, hope you find it soon. But at this point the are so sought after... every guy here would like to catch one
Brother Dylan this was absolutely joy! I really enjoyed this video, my cheeks hurt from too much smiling and laughing! I grew up when Dukes was on tv in the 80s. What memories... Thank you so much Dylon and Sally!!! That was fun, I mean really fun to watch!!! God bless you both for restoring these old gems!!!! Man that was fun!!
Used to be one out by where I grew up, and by the time I was able to buy it, it was gone. I always wanted one to whip around Had the whole general Lee setup radio and all
I can hear the narrator in the background while you guys were ripping donuts, them Duke boys are in a heap of trouble 😂 I saw the video with Cam racing when you guys found that car. Beautiful condition and I'm sure you'll do wonders with it. Excellent video guys 👍✌️🇺🇲
I remember climbing in and out of car windows when I was a little kid. My family had this old Toyota Tercel that just sat in our driveway after we got a new car. I would get into it, roll the windows down and jump into that car all the time and pretend I was Bo Duke. Also, another way to tell if it’s a 68 Charger is if there’s a hole for a mirror on the passenger side door. 69s didn’t have that
It's crazy to see you guys chasing eachother as it's 5.15pm on a Sunday here in Wales UK 🏴 and back when I was a young kid the dukes of hazzard would be on TV at this time on a Sunday and I'd be watching it, thanks for bringing up such fond memories for me.
This might be the most excited I have been to see a Dylan McCool video in a minute...I loved the video on the green 68 ...Such an iconic Car...I can't decide wich of the 69 Charger , 69 Camaro or 70 Challenger is my favorite, so I just say all three are!!!
This was an absolute blast man! About the most fun I’ve ever had working on a car and getting to live out so many car guys childhood dreams by running from the cops in an orange ‘69 Charger! 🙌🏼 Thanks for all the help Dylan!
I love that man keep it
Those other figures u found is Jimmy super fly n the ultimate warrior those look original bro the could be worth a few bucks
You guys killed it on this video. Watching a charger do donuts tearing up a field never gets old.
I can't believe this video snuck past me 3 days ago, but I found it now. You guys made my day with the PO-lice chase, Dukes Of Hazzard style. You even found the right background music. Lol i saw the cop car in the garage and thought they better do a cop chase video once running.
This has gotta be one of the best rides for awhile... But Dylan, you deserve your own clean Charger by now after all these resurrections!
I Agree Dylan needs a Nicely Painted Cruiser
Or maybe completely clean and restore one of his mopar
He has a Charger, he just needs to get it right!
His Blue Dart is done, and the Challenger is as done as he wants it.

Thank you Dylan helping Jacob get this old charger going so he can finish restoring it. A fun video guys!
💯👍👊

Yes! Dukes followed by The Incredible Hulk with Lou Ferigno. The best time to grow up.
I’m an Aussie bloke and I do love the General, but 0:39 the General is obscuring my view of a sweet Falcon wagon. 🇦🇺🤙🏼

I love the ending with the cop car chasing the Charger- very cool, although Daisy chasing you guys always scares me. I don't want her to get hurt.
The chase scene at the end of the video is awesome it brought back memories of watching the Duke's of Hazzard when I was a kid . 🤘
Love the Dukes music playing during the pressure wash 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love this video, the Dukes of Hazzard was my favorite TV show, glad to see the General Lee lives agian, the Police car chase just made it perfect, great job guys.

OMG when you started chasing him around in the Cop car I about died 🤣🤣 SOOOO much fun to watch!
Boy that was fun to watch. Even more fun in person I bet. Reminds of my 15 yo self driving a bandit trans am in and behind the impound yard when I was supposed to be washing tow trucks.
Still smiling from the awesome chase scene at the end.
Dylan, all that's missing is Daisey and Boss Hogg! Them Duke boys are back! Fun Video!
I am glad you found one of these......THEY ARE HISTORICALLY ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC CARS IN THE WORLD ......AND YOU ARE A GENIUS WHEN IT COMES TO DODGE
I hope y'all had as much fun making this video as I did watching it ! Awesome !
Back in the 80s, I used to watch The Dukes of Hazard all the time as a kid. Memories. ☺️

Bo, Luke, the federal lee, what else?! Oh there is Rosco! Now I am 9 again.
Thanks for bringing ne back to good old times when I just cared for next weeks general lee stuff
That was so cool. Getting the police car out and playing the music from the 1st episode of the Dukes was the best.
Growing up in the 80s absolutely love the dukes always dreamed of owning a general absolutely love this video
Perfect. General Lee being chased by a police car. And of course Daisy is there n the scene!
I'm old enough to have grown up watching Dukes of Hazzard every Friday night. This was a real treat!
Those are Hasbro WWF figures from the early 1990's quite valuable in good condition in the package. The Ultimate warrior one if in the package is worth about $2000. The blue pants guy is Sting from the early/mid 90's WCW line. Cool find!
Love the way you edited in the sound clip from the first episode of the Dukes. Worked well. Yee haa!😎🇺🇸
I owned the ski car from the show so watching this brought back some memories of doing the same thing with the Lee.
So much fun! The chase at the end was absolutely perfect, great video!

All Right All Right all Right! A Jacob Dylan Collaboration! Always a good time! And a General Lee what could be better!
The 60's and 70's were the greatest years ever if it wasn't for Nam
I just pulled up RUclips and this was the first video that popped up…getting the popcorn ready 😂

my favorite part of the video... the police car chasing the charger, perfect!
Probably one of the best for grins and laughs. The car is cool but the chase in the end was hilarious
Good job guys. It's great to see these old cars come back to life
A friend of mine had a 70 charger SE R/T 440 with a 4 sp. back in the 80's beautiful car and damn fast !

That 400 runs really well. Gonna get them Duke boys lol that takes me back.

A Chevy guy myself but I do salute the general nice job Dylan&jacob
I can hear the narrator in the background while you guys were ripping donuts, them Duke boys are in a heap of trouble 😂 I saw the video with Cam racing when you guys found that car. Beautiful condition and I'm sure you'll do wonders with it. Excellent video guys 👍✌️🇺🇲
Love the dog in the background just hanging out
This is one of the best ones I’ve seen in a while!!! Good Stuff!!!
Beautiful Charger, loved the Dukes police chase complete with perfect soundtrack!
I remember climbing in and out of car windows when I was a little kid. My family had this old Toyota Tercel that just sat in our driveway after we got a new car. I would get into it, roll the windows down and jump into that car all the time and pretend I was Bo Duke. I really like watching you guys wash vehicles. Mainly you and Sleeperdude.

Noooooo I can't imagine leaving that car in a field)))))
Frrr old chargers are so good
Do not change those rims, too me, are the best looking wheels of all time. I love those rims.
The best video of the year!¡!!!! Love that car!!!
"Roscoe P. Coltrane talking to you, over"!!!
Tons of fun, I loved every moment. Thanks for another awesome video.
Super fun video. Can't wait to see the rest of the build. Also disappointed Dylan gave us a weak Roscoe P Coletrain impression. It needs work :)
Now that was a fun video. Obviously the bones of this car is good. Lots of work yet to get it as a fully functional car. Great Job.
The wheels are just fantastic!
Not laughed as much for ages lad, great vlog
So glad to see you young men working together again, we don't have the Dixie horn but we have Dixie the dog. 😅
Dylan, awesome video, nothing greater than watching a charger tear up a field. Best video I’ve watched on RUclips in a long time.
My favourite car of all time! There are a few examples here in the UK but they are rare.
Hell, they don't exactly grow on trees here!
I love the police chase at the end, AWSOME
Great video guys. That looked like a blast. I bet the owner was watching and had a smile ear to ear.
Dude....the chase scene was pretty funny/awesome....and I almost never leave comments. Looks like the kind of fun I wish I was having.
Grew up watching Dukes of Hazzard. This video was so much fun to watch!
YALL ARE LIVING MY DREAM LIFE
The General Lee rides again. The police chase at the end was spot on.
Dylan this was a really cool 😎 video 📹!!! Looking forward to seeing more!!
This might be the most excited I have been to see a Dylan McCool video in a minute...I loved the video on the green 68 ...Such an iconic Car...I can't decide wich of the 69 Charger , 69 Camaro or 70 Challenger is my favorite, so I just say all three are!!!
DIXIE IS ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS WHEN SHE PINCHED THAT GLOVE OH MAN IT CRACKED ME UP 😂
