  • In this Super Nintendo Review of Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose! (released in Japan as Tiny Toon Adventures) which is a video game for the Super NES console that is based on the animated TV series Tiny Toon Adventures. It was developed and published by Konami, released in 1992 in Japan and in 1993 in Europe and North America.
Tiny Toons was one of the great cartoons of the early 90s, and Konami turned it into a decent platform game. The focus is on running, though because you have a gauge, it doesn't end up like a clone of Sonic the Hedgehog. The worst part is that the attack jump is kind of wimpy. It does not rank as the best Konami game, but it isn't horrible.

If you get stuck during Buster Busts Loose, try giving one of these passwords a go!

And thanks for the codes! I still have my original boxed PAL copy of the game from the 90s childhood. But I never knew there was a seperate code for the bonus levels. Will try it! Happy New Year to you too Sir!

We got this game in 1996 as kids, when the show became very popular in Germany. I still love to play this game, played it this Christmas. Banzai!

    Fun review.
I got the Loony Toons for NES back in the day. It was a decent time, but I was never enticed to play another. Pretty sure the NES one also has a Star Wars level with Duck Vader.
Good call on adding the passwords too. Great for games like this and ZAMN.

I've watched a ton of speedruns on the NES Looney Toons GHG, I recall a relative of mine having the NES version way back when. I might have to give that a go as well!

The "jump on enemies' head" preference seems to be a common one among different reviewers of this game
