I have 2 of these chia clone diesel, its not the exhaust noise yer dealing with, its the actual motot thats noisy. Best to just put it behind a wall and direct the noise away from your living or working space . They alse dont like working with no load, they will wetstack unless they are under a load. Otherwise they are great units that are extremely economical to run !

@ We lose our grid power quite often as we live in a very rural area of northern Calif, so we depend on the generators to keep the power on till or utility’s are restored. We have run them for weeks at a time in the last 10 yrs with very few problems utilizing our well pump, washer and dryer, refrigerator and freezer flawlessly. They will power our house for 14 hrs on a full tank ( 2 US Gallons), diesel is around $4.50 a Gal in our area of Calif.

@ I had a diesel leak from the head gasket on one of them, but regular maintenance is key! Having 2 of them is a real luxury! Parts are completely interchangeable with the yammer gensets, and easily accessible online! Keep the fuel tank clean and change the fuel filter in the tank, you’ll have few problems! One of my units shows over 10 k hours on the hr meter, I got both of the used so not sure if it’s accurate but it wouldn’t surprise me!
