    Wow. This cake is absolutely delicious! I made it today, and my parents have already eaten half... it is extremely light and fluffy, but not dry at all!
    I did change up the recipe a tiny bit, but it didn’t really affect the end product that much. Instead of a buttercream, I made a whipped cream topping, consisting of 150g whipping cream and 30g of powdered sugar.
    I also made the pandan juice more condensed, by using 4 pandan leaves instead of 2 and using 80ml of water to dilute it instead. When I make it next time, I will probably use 65ml of water and increase the pandan leaves even more, as our family really like a strong pandan taste.
    I definitely definitely recommend to all the pandan lovers out there! Also, I recommend making the whipped cream frosting instead for a lighter cake, more suitable for the summer. (This also means you can eat more slices in one go, as it’s not too rich!)

    I love pandan so much! :) pro tip: for crazy pandan lovers like me, I use both pandan juice (which I usually actually reduce down, to lessen the water content of it) and pandan flavoring :0 sorry for any purists that may find this sacrilegious, but its great!
    Really craving this cake now... :’))

      @@Houaria2019 screwpine leaves. it has a nice smell and usually use in cooking traditonal dish/cakes around southeast asia.
