    Wow. We lived in one of those A Frames at the end of the video for a summer before we could take possession of our newly purchased home. I remember there used to be a sweet beach there. 1976.

    Well, I suppose all those rocks will keep the public off your "beach" now.

    1:15 you know they are not pleased with the home next to them who did not protect from the sea.

    Lo que caracteriza el vivir con la cercanía del mar es la playita pero ahora es el golpeteo del mar extremo.

    Glaciers receded about 18000 years ago. This glacier was about 2 1/2 miles high. And millions of tons cut and depressed the Great Lakes. And melt off made these depressions lakes. Those depressions are very slowly decompressing forcing the water up. As more of the lake bottom rises. The water rises with it. Higher water means more erosion. Most state governments have geologist staffed and know that shorelines erode. But they give building permits. So they can collect property taxes off of the shoreline.

    Quit building on sand dunes especially next to the water

    Wow....few more bad winters and a lot of those homes will be uninhabitable....more rocks around the garden wont stop it. Sad

    Why don’t they have an uninterrupted barrier? This doesn’t work.

    Another 5 years, and all those houses will be gone. The sea is rising from beneath;

    1:00 you can tell when someone doesn't have the money, and they will let it happen.

    Who gives the right to build on the edge of the sea?

    • @Kernewik101
      @Kernewik101 3 года назад

      They weren't built on the edge....the edge has come to them over the past 20 years. But some houses looked fairly new which seems mad....
