Lake Michigan is still rebounding from the last ice age. It once had a ten mile high glacier cut and compress it. The bottom is slowly decompressing over the last 14.000 years. The water has to go somewhere when the bottom rises. And will continue for long after we are gone.
I have a question did you ever film this area within thee last few years to see the difference. Like from grand mere?
U P D A T E 📸 🎥 🙏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😲
could spray sea grass on the sandy slopes might hold it a bit
What does this coast look like now I wonder 🤔
they spent a fortune and stopped some of this. This was when the lake was very high, it has since receded. I live near this.
I wonder if those houses have any resale value
the lot's do. Huge money. Millions. They rarely change hands though, they keep them in the family. That one house has been unoccupied my entire life, since I moved to this area in '78.
Iron pillars, concrete and rocks😂can help.
The Great Lakes and California’s shorelines are very agry now with bunch of stuff to keep the land from erosion. The beautiful houses I use to admire when I was raising my children wishing I could bring them to those house during weekends to enjoy. I don’t now. I live in a beautiful home in Ohio now and two successful children on their own. I’ve learned a valuable lesson in my precious life watching those houses. Good luck to those big losers. Study and examine the product before you decide to invest your millions in them.
sadness built on sand
not really. Magnificence and hundred years of Lake Michigan waves.
well one thing is true the plates move, and effect all bodies of water, along with earth and its poles moving will change water over long period and sometimes it may show in major changes happening fast over shorter periods. But as all the movements happen water will show changes and some things will go below the water while another rises from the water. large bodies of water like mini seas will show this effect too. Critics yell this is not true and that's not true but look around you can see water dropping away from one continent as it rises into another. Look on NOAA site as to position of magnetic north and south poles. then move equator to match the difference on your globes or maps there will be some major water changes. Yes you may have to pull the rod out of the globe and make a new hole for it.
But one thing will remain true. A map can be set one way but in order to plot on it the declamation has to be applied, or your off by that difference. So yes maps wont change but earth will, then the maps will have to change after the water covers and exposes land masses.
"The wise man built his house upon the rock (3x)
And the rains came tumbling down.
(And the west winds blew)
Oh…
the rains came down as the floods came up (3x)
And the wise man’s house stood firm.
The foolish man built his house upon the sand (3x)
And the rains came tumbling down.
(And the west winds blew)
Oh…
the rains came down as the floods came up (3x)
And the foolish man’s house went splat.
It's not nice to fool ...............with Mother Nature.
