Hi Mike, Suzi was editor of our American COP magazine for years and had the last page Vantage Point column. If you go to gunsmagazine.com and search you’ll find her searing, flaming hot columns that caused no end of trouble! Roy

Great video! I just found out about the idea of bifocals on top-suggested by Mas Ayoob. They are sometimes avaable from outfits like Lenscrafters, and called "Electricians bifocals" or "D-D" lenses. Really enjoyed this video! Hammer

Oh my...well, SHE's 60?!?! Good for her, good for Roy. Thanks for the conversation! Off topic, Brent, after seeing the Finch Shiv in last month's magazine, I had to have one. I got one with a wood handle and it's a really nice knife. It has become one of my EDC knives. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you Suzi. Hope you are able to be on more often. 60?? Roy robbed the cradle 😮
I would think it's cross body carry? I'm jealous, at 69 I wish fanny packs were back. Not in this small town.

    • @fmgpubs

I still think fanny packs would work. None of the youngsters today would know what it is! Roy

When I first began to carry, back when the first Bush was in office, I carried off body without a holster. Later I tried in the waistband appendix without a holster until my pistol slipped down my pants leg onto the floor. Since shortly after that moment I have always worn a holster. My "carry rotation" goes something like this: shoulder holster until bursitis, then strong side hip until sciatica, then inside waist appendix until that hurts, then cross draw until the hammer digs into my navel, then pocket carry, then belt pack until everything else heals, then I start again. But there is always a holster. However, Suzi gave me an idea! A bag or backpack may just be the perfect place for a BUG!

Your carry history reads like mine! These days I like pocket carry. But that’s just me. I’ll let Suzi know you said hi. Roy

60 years young...jus' a puppy...compared to old fossil like me. You carry it your way, Darlin' You were LEO and have your reasons. End of story. Yeah, open carry is legal here, but I sure
won't mess with it. .32 Charter Arms? Wonder if it's 327 Fed...Even .32 H&R Magnum's pretty harsh on human flesh. Just me thinkin' here. Thanks for having Suzi on, Brent...and
    thanks for showing up Suzi.

Tom, I don’t think Charter makes a 327 Federal revolver, which I find disappointing.
I’m guessing she might have their 32 H&R Magnum “Professional” model.
      I’m a big fan of 327 Federal.
I like the versatility of being able to shoot multiple calibers out of one revolver.
Still hopeful that Charter will upgrade the Professional model to 327 Federal.
It’s wonderful to have Miss Suzi back on the podcast and hear her perspective!

Love hearing other people's viewpoint on carry options. I a drawer full of holsters and the ones I find most comfortable also "print" the most. Just have to find the right combo. Also, the FMG bunch who are usually on these videos, Brent, Tom, Roy, Suzi, and Eric all communicate well and seldom come across as know it all @$$hole. BTW Roy, you've got a real peach of a life mate and I'm totally jealous! 😍

I get the impression that Suzi leaves men speechless quite often. I've seen her do it to Brent quite a few times.
Seems it would be a natural/necessary skill learned from her years in a (at least then) male dominated profession.

Miss Suzi. Like you I am 29 but I am about to have my fiftyith anniversary on turning 29. After 29 they are anniversary’s not birthdays. (and I’m a guy). Also after 47 years as a cop I always recommend women to try a good purse. My wife and daughter both carry and practice with their purse. Thank You for your service and your voice on the podcast.
