They are just so damned good live. Always prefer the raw live versions. This just shows the brilliance of Roger Taylor. He is always rock solid and probably the best spot-on drummer at keeping that rhythm so steady. He's so underrated because he never shows off. He's always been my fave. Just so masculine and handsome, but adorably sweet and modest. Love you RT 😘
Yes, I agree. Now that I am older and have seen many bands in concert in all kinds of musical genres, I am even more impressed how excellent DD live performances are/were. I was only a pre-teen when DD became famous in the USA due to their MTV videos, so I really never saw much of their live shows. I have always liked their music, but mostly thought of them in the 80s as an artsy, video band. They are that too, but so much more. All around genuine Renaissance guys!
I have been a Duran Duran fan since I first heard Planet Earth in 1981 and they are the band I have seen the most live. I wish I had seen them in the early days but I must admit that screaming girls put me off and it was 1989, the Big Thing tour when I first saw them…. I have seen them perform many many times since then. … no screaming girls but I was very giddy when I first went and each gig always chucks in a surprise or two to keep me coming back.
This was my first gig. Glasgow Apollo '82. 5his was recorded by Radio Clyde from the Matinee show. Been going to see them now for 39yrs and will keep going til one of us drops. Love these boys ❤
Cool song! I have decided Duran Duran is the COOLEST band on PLANET EARTH! :) There are many bands I like, but few bands create music for 40 years and still keep coming up with fabulous music, and also still play their originals just as well as they did in the early days.
The tempo, Simon’s improvising lyrically and the tune and the 3 part vocal at the end!! So much energy! So good!! Who do we think those 3 vocals are?? I know one is Simon, one is Andy but who’s the other one? John? 🤔
Bad ass. I love this version ❤
Wow and I thought I heard all the versions. Wow. This is my fav
I had not heard this version before. It freakin rocks!
The best live version of this awesome song! Andy's guitaring really rings out on this!

Bellissima questa versione in stile vagamente punk rock.....
I was there fantastic day
Wow, first time I hear this early live version...love it!!!
Wow this version is pretty
I was at that gig, lost my tassle belt as threw it on stage and it wrapped around neck of John Taylor's bass guitar
Omg, so what happened? Did it mess up his playing or did he manage to remove it quickly?
@@sunnyk3023 he kept playing on with it hanging on there, then pulled it off when the song ended
@@vondefeo8586 You’re so lucky that you got to see them live when they were the original 5 members.
some great unseen pics.
One word; perfect
I love this version, thanks for sharing
I understand this is their punk version. Love it!! Prefer slower version but wish this had been put out as a b side somewhere.
Cool! A faster version of the original.

perfezione, da brividi
I never heard this version before. It's weird, it seems sped up. Andy's backup vocals are amazing as usual.
Interesting that this is in a completely different key then the album version.
I prefer album version too
Inspired live recording, mate.
Con Andy e Roger i Duran avevano la loro chimica perfetta
I love you my Beautiful .....June 12, 2017
I like this version. However I prefer the Album version. I never understand why this great song was released as a single
rugby721 you mean ...never released as a single
